I have some stuff to mail, so I'm off to make my first solo errand-running trip since the operation. While I am out I may get a bus schedule book and possibly a latte.

I meant well, but there was no way I was gonna take the bus down when I saw how damp and grey it was. I did make it to the corner store, though, so at least I was able to get a stamp to send out the bill I needed to mail. The person who mooched a book from me knows I'm getting over surgery, so he understands it'll be delayed a bit.
And I was responsible and made the follow-up appointment with Dr. Rios. So it's only 9 am and I've already been grown-up today. |

Having a lapful of affectionate and silly cat is always a mood-lifter.
I wish the hospital had been more generous with the Vicodin... I think I have about two days' worth left. But hopefully Advil will do after that. And yes, I have taken one now, thus the rambly.
It's not really cold, but sorta chilly. Right now I'd love a warm spring day.
