I want a hot fudge sundae very badly. One from AMy's would do nicely.
I'm a bit too Valium'ed to be bussing anywhere. |

I'm restless and irritable and I want to go somewhere. But I don't know where, it's awfully hot to be bussing around, and even if I go out I'll still be alone, which is half my problem.
Any of you Austinites want to get together and do something? |

This is my week to try to be a "grown-up". Yesterday I called STS and set up a ride to take me to the lab to get my blood drawn for the tests MHMR does (nowhere near often enough, but that's neither here nor there). And this morning I went into the apartment complex office with my paperwork; I haven't gotten a lease renewal meeting appointment letter yet, but it is that time of year and I really want to get it over with. So I drank some tea from my maneki neko mug, put on my lucky hoodie (the $50 one I got for $.97) and went in to the office. The manager xeroxed my Social Security letter and food stamp statement and had me sign the asset paperwork (that also verified no changes to my household) and told me to come in again at 3. So hopefully by 3:30 I will have my new lease in hand and my next lease will be for my new place! |

I tried sleeping and was somewhat distressed when I couldn't. I'd been up since 4:30! I'd had a day full of running around and *ahem* exercise!
Then I realized my dumbassery. I'd already had four mugs of tea by the time A. & T. picked me up. I had about four cups of tea over dim sum. I don't think the bubble tea had caffiene, but the Coke I had with dinner sure did.
I am thoroughly caffienated!
Took some Valium, hopefully I'll crash soon.
Tomorrow I need to try and drag myself to the bank, I have a check to deposit. After all the spending I did today that is a good thing. |

Valentine's day scents are up! Dangerously tempting as always. And another Shunga series! I need to soberly reflect on what I really want bottles and decants of.
( I need to narrow it down from: )
I think I am gonna get a bottle of Manners Among Men and Women in the Red Light District at the very least. |

Dreamed I was playing a videogame with a layout almost identical to my grandparents' old house (my mother currently lives there), and my grandma was insisting that it wasn't all that similar. There was also a dream bit about seeing a therapist that I'd given a hermit crab to. |

Posting from the desktop, because I still can't remember how to set up Semagic to post to multiple journals at the same time so I can do that from the Eee. Please, please, if someone can help... the link I had to a post with info on how was on GJ and I can't get to it.
I think Circe likes me more than I thought. She usually flops around the keyboard on the desktop when I'm using the computer, but when I was on the Eee on the futon she came and sat near me; actually I had all the cats near me, it was nice! There's room for them all on the futon.
And seriously, I gotta say it again, thanks so much, doombuggie! The Eee was your suggestion in the first place, and I could never have set up the router myself.
My bottle of Forever Home from Possets hasn't come yet :( It's lying ignored on some post office truck, I know it.
Oh, and with a little nudging from jennywho, I'm thinking of setting up an Eee community. There's already one, but it's pretty dead and very techie-oriented. |

Firefox is being a dayglo orange nailstudded dildo. Dripping with habanero sauce that you can't see cuz it's orange, so next thing you know you're all cut up with nails and burning from the habanero sauce.
Well, maybe not quite that bad, but it's crashing a lot.
Trying out a new anti-malware program (Malwarebytes). Hopefull if I have anything lurking that'll root it out. |

...I just spent waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much at Whole Foods. But I got all the things I wanted! Two bottles of blueberry juice, a carton of blood orange juice, a bottle of green apple Italian soda, a sixpack of root beer, a fourpack of fancy ginger ale, four sausages (one of them buffalo bratwurst!), some potatoes, the chocolate I promised myself, bagels, cream cheese, butter, a fancy cupcake (I'd wanted to try one of theirs for a long time)... and jennywho and I had brunch from the hot bar. They had comfort food and German food; I had jagerschnitzel and German potato salad. OM NOM NOM.
Oh, and before I forget, jennywho (and anyone else who might be interested), here's the Amazon page for the Eee 1000HA. It has all the stats.
Mmmm. I might nap now. I had a pleasant erranding-and-socializing on a chilly (but thankfully so far unrainy) day, and now I have a full belly and a full fridge and it's warm in my apartment |

I owe RP tags, but I'm headachey and sleepy, bah.
Horchata-flavor Tang is pretty tasty.
Since everyone is giving their thoughts on Matt Smith... I haven't seen him in anything, so all I can say is, he's a rather pretty infant. 26, wow! I was, like many others, hoping for Paterson Joseph, but I'll certainly give Matt Smith a fair chance. But geez, 26... |

The Eee is up and running. I've loaded it with a bunch of music and some pictures. I've installed Xvid codecs. I've set the desktop wallpaper to the pretty pic hcolleen made me. I've installed WinAmp.
Further tweaking, I think, requires being somewhere with wifi. |

I saw a UPS truck outside, but no package for me! But the tracking still says "Out For Delivery", not "Delivered" or "Delivery Attempted" (both have happened to me before and the status changed on the site right away). So I am all nervous! Well, more nervous. |

According to UPS, tomorrow is when I get my Eee. I just did a little tweaking of the files on the USB drive; I figure I won't be reading doujinshi on the 10" screen, so I deleted those and packed on more music instead. hcolleen is teasing me about being fidgety as if this was a new thing. But it made sense! When I go out and about I'll need music more anyway. I can't wait!
Also, so much for the decision I'd made to not spend money today. The seller of the book that got lost in the mail (it was volume one of the Welcome to the NHK manga) gave me a refund and I found another seller that had a copy for about the same price, so I ordered it. Because hey, I need my fix of miserable hikikomori, right? |
