Being responsible
This is my week to try to be a "grown-up". Yesterday I called STS and set up a ride to take me to the lab to get my blood drawn for the tests MHMR does (nowhere near often enough, but that's neither here nor there). And this morning I went into the apartment complex office with my paperwork; I haven't gotten a lease renewal meeting appointment letter yet, but it is that time of year and I really want to get it over with. So I drank some tea from my maneki neko mug, put on my lucky hoodie (the $50 one I got for $.97) and went in to the office. The manager xeroxed my Social Security letter and food stamp statement and had me sign the asset paperwork (that also verified no changes to my household) and told me to come in again at 3. So hopefully by 3:30 I will have my new lease in hand and my next lease will be for my new place!
