Crampy as hell, and my nose is runny. Listless, restless, and bored.
In other words, business as usual, ha-ha. I'll probably attempt a nap at some point.
Good point of the day so far: I scored a mooch on BookMooch for Dorothy Parker's Elbow: Tattoos on Writers, Writers on Tattoos, which I've been wanting to read for ages. So now I'm just waiting for the mooch to be accepted. Which hopefully will go without a hitch, I've had two books get lost in the mail to me, which was disappointing.
I covet these unreasonably, but I can justify spending the money on them, since I wouldn't really be able to wear them much; I need corrective lenses, after all. And they'd probably look awful on me. I love steampunk but I don't think it's a look I could pull off.
Speaking of eBay, hopefully thesefun</i> to have them. And even small amounts of fun are not to be sneezed at. Right?
Ugh, as loath as I am to admit it, I am now awake enough to require breakfast. Which means I should also feed the kitties. It's hardly fair for me to eat while they're hungry! Then I can search for distraction. I do have a DVD from Netflix and plenty of books to read, after all. |

So the Silver Dillo does run on weekends, at least according to the CapMetro site. This is good to know. I still don't think I'm up to bussing it to Whole Foods, though. My craving for high-test chocolate and overpriced fancy jam are not powerful enough to overcome my cramp-enhanced lethargy, even if I wouldn't have to walk all the way from Congress to Lamar.
Also, nothing quite like having to clean up hairballs before breakfast, bleah. |
