I'm doing something I haven't done for a while, staying up all night to do early-morning erranding. It's warm enough to get away with being out and bussing around at 5 am now.

Peeked at the moon and thought to check if the BPAL update was up. It was! The Atomic Luau stuff sounds cool and fun but thankfully nothing so OMG that I wound up with more than a couple of decants from a circle.

People can be assholes. People can be serious assholes. But people can be awesome too. Just when I really needed it today, I got three really nice bits of feedback on my creepy little B/A ficlet. It makes me want to write more creepy B/A (and maybe B/L and L/A), since writing-feedback-writing-feedback gets to be a whole cycle. And I've decided not to give myself grief for writing short pieces; one of the reviews I got specifically mentioned liking how I tied everything up neatly in a short fic.

And I had fun RPing today (or really yesterday, by now). God, poor A though. I have far too much fun torturing him. I need to have him learn how to kick some ass at some point, poor confused baby.

Gonna mail some imps to [info]darkluna, gonna get med refills, probably gonna do a little grocery shopping, might stop somewhere for breakfast on the way. Whee!

  So I caught the first bus downtown, which goes by my place around 4:45 am. In the lovely dark and quiet, with the street looking like something from NIGHT OF THE COMET, I went to the post office to send off [info]darkluna's imps(gotta love that automated kiosk). Then I went to the pharmacy (yay 24 hour Walgreens!) for my med refills. After that, groceries! I went to Fiesta and stoked up on indulgent goodies. I found rose jam! Had to try it. Also my standard splurges from there like spotted dick and palak paneer and ginger beer. They had matzoh balls, too! Also got "real" stuff like bread and salami. And they sell breakfast tacos there so I had breakfast too.

And I was home by 8! Yay early erranding!
