Ganked this from both randombastary and theladyfeylene, so there's a bunch. Also, it's icons from my IJ, so those of you following along on one of my other journals might not have seen some of these.
The rules: # Reply to this post, and I will pick six of your icons.
# Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
# Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
# This will create a never-ending cycle of icon squee. Whoo!

Biscuits and gravy (with sausage!) have been had. And when a meal has been had at Hoover's, it stays had. God, it was just what I was hankering for. Halved tender biscuits covered with cream gravy full of sausage chunks. Also cheddar garlic grits on the side, and coffee. I am fully fed and will probably stay fed until evening.
Then at hcolleen and fidrich's urging I was responsible and mailed out the BookMooch books I had to send, and swung by CVS to pick up some sundries; toilet paper and cat food to hold me until I can get some big packages delivered from Austin Grocer, mailing tape, bread, a few bars of Green & Black's milk chocolate with Almonds (the Find of the day!), a 2 liter of soda, and some salt & vinegar Pringles, which I blame on cardarchitect (hush, I just do).
So, productive, but gah, it is hot & muggy out there. I'm wearied. But I am wearied from accomplishment.
Oh, and Circe scratched the hell out of my leg this morning! As usual, I had the doors open with the screen doors latched for circulation. And Circe starts growling at the screen door. I figure it's probably a stray cat outside (for some reason the neighborhood strays often peer in my screen doors, which would be less odd if I weren't on the second floor) and go to have a peek (it was). Only, Circe's terriorial growling set Molly off and they got into a slap fight, with my leg in the middle. Not really an issue with Molly, but Circe scratched me up noticeably. I was bleeding and everything! Silly cats. |
