I was responsible and canceled my expensive lemonade order with Amazon... $30 on lemonade is just more than I can justify right now, even if it's a good deal.
Then I ordered a bunch of tea. 2 ounces of unmixed rose petals off eBay, and from Dragonwater:
Earl Grey de la Creme 1/2 oz sample Green Chai 1/2 oz sample Black Vanilla Chai 1/2 oz sample Black Chocolate Cream 1/2 oz sample Earl Grey Lavender 1/2 oz sample Honeybush Vanilla 1/2 oz sample China Rose Congou 1/4 lb
hcolleen, neither of those chais have anise! And the green has rose in it. Surprise, me ordering a tea with rose! Shipping was reasonable, too.
I need to stop being so lazy and make a store run. I am low on powdered milk, if nothing else. It's just so hot (whine whine whine, I know)! |

My chocolate rose tea is here! I tried a cup. It came out a little bitter, I don't think I brewed it quite right. The chocolate taste is far more prominent that the faint hint of rose. Maybe I'll try mixing it with some of the rose petals when they get here. |

Look what I found!
I've been looking for a caftan like this for almost 20 years. Not exaggerating. I had one like it in fuschia when I was a teenager, but the violent psycho ex ripped it to shreds during one of our fights.
And I had a 50% off promotion code! So I ordered one in black.
I also finally got my lazy butt to the grocery store. I got cherries, mmmm. Also bread and cheese, a little pudding and cookies, some coffee and creamer, powdered milk and powdered lemonade (thanks to The Consumerist I made sure to check the unit prices, and good thing too; the smaller package was a better deal!). Trying to wean myself off of drinking so much soda. |
