My A/C has shipped. I have a UPS tracking number. The projected delivery date is July 2nd. That is the 5 year anniversary of my living entirely alone, and that'd be fitting in a way.
Got packages from Dragonwater Tea and BPAL today. Dragonwater Tea's Moroccan Mint is pleasant. Clemence smells wonderful but doesn't have much throw on me. The new 13 smells fantastic in the bottle but I haven't skin-tested it yet.
Hecate, unsurprisingly, is desperately fond of smoky bacon crisps. Seeing her reach for the bag with her paw all spread and grasping and her eyes pleading made me smile. I gave her a few crumbs to watch her OM NOM NOM them up.
Time to fix another cup of tea. |

Just looked at the UPS site and according to them, the A/C is being delivered tomorrow. I'll be following the tracking info with interest. |

My Adagio and Tea Table orders are here! I have ten new teas to try. I didn't expect Adagio to throw in a free sample, either; all I'd gotten was a tea sample and a rock sugar sample, and that was with a $5 gift certificate.
Also, half the stuff I got from The Tea Table was various chais, so I picked up some half & half when I was last at the store. Creamy chai goodness awaits me, oh yes.
The mailman bitched about having to climb my stairs again. BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
God, I gotta pick which tea to try first. I might have to roll a fricken' d10 for this one. |

What I fixed myself for lunch:
Cottage cheese with brown sugar, cardamom, and a smidge of rose jam.
It tasted like something you'd get for dessert at an Indian restaurant.
And I'm drinking some Birthday Tea, which was the free sample from Adagio and is quite yummy. It is my second cup of tea for the day and I can feel the mood-elevation. I'm not sure if it's been long enough for me to have an honest statistical sample but tea really does seem to improve my mood. |
