Yesterday went pretty much as planned! [info]jennywho picked me up and we hit the PO, had a lovely lunch at Hut's (I got my usual, vanilla coke and a Wolfman Jack burger and we split a half order of onion rings). After that we went to Dominican Joe to chill out, and I liked it very much. They have a mojito limeade that was utterly wonderful. But I'm sure that's not what all of you are curious about.

And then we went to Amy's and had butterscotch ice cream. It was very good.

I did indeed get a gift certificate to Amazon from my dad. As promised, I ordered a Furminator, Kage Baker's new book THE HOUSE OF THE STAG, and Monin syrups in violet, lavender, and rose. All together it came to just 41 cents more than the certificate. Well done me! And since I got more than I expected from my grandparents, I placed that Conjure Oils order, a 5mL of La Pera and another sample pack. Mmmm, smellies!

Did the scrub-with-a-(clean)-toothbrush thing to encourage scarring. Also tried putting on lemon juice.

I barely flinched.

Here's hoping for a nice bold scar.
