...I called my mom on the quilt thing, and she totally blew it off. I'd sent her a chatty email (because I didn't want it to be all YOU NEVER MADE ME A QUILT RAWR) and I got a two-sentence response about a totally different topic.

This is why I don't try to connect with her on any serious level.

On the plus side, I slept through the LJ downtime.

I talked, finally, to the woman from the agency that does the visiting cleaning assistance. They'd closed my file! So I have to go throug the intake interview again. And she got snotty to me about my cats. Emptying litterboxes? Not one of the things they do.

Oh, for fuck's sake.

It's all so annoying. I need something to make me smile.
