The Spice Girls concert last night!
Sara and I met around three, and we went straight to Boston. Well minus Burger King and candy and gas stops. We eventually parked and were inside, and it was crazy. We got there just in time, because tons of people came after us and we were squished in this big line. We eventually went up some escalator things and yay, more lines to wait in. We found our seats and bought stuff- Sara, a tshirt, and a canvas tote bag thing for me. Our seats were high up, but right next to the stage, so I think they were pretty good.
It was sold out. And packed and just a mob scene.
They came out at quarter past eight (when it was supposed to start at 7:30) and I have a video on my phone. I'm working on maybe uploading them. Sara snuck her camera in though, so she'll be uploading things too.
And it was really, really great. I've been to plenty of concerts, but nothing like this. This was an actual ~*show*~. Not just standing and singing, but everything. They danced and sang and had dancers and they changed costumes and there were props. They're so cute, haha. Actually gorgeous. We were close to one of those tv screen things and Sara and I kept saying like OMG THEYRE BREATHING OUR BOSTON AIR!!1!
They each did a song from their solo albums. Actually everyone but Posh did, but she did a kindof runway thing instead. But that was pretty cool. Scary did this weird, sex thing (and in between songs she commented on the sex shops she found in Boston) involving a guy being tied to a ladder, and she was dangling in front of him, Baby did a psychadelic thing with her song, Sporty's had lasers and not too many props, and Ginger sang It's Raining Men. Complete with shirtless men dancing and swinging their shirts and picking her up.
They did all the hits of course, and I have a really good video of Wannabe on my phone.
And then we left (and fought our way through yet another mob scene) and got home around twelve, maybe twelve-thirty. I was up at five, and living off caffeine and running on auto-pilot for the day,
It was just really cool living out a childhood dream, you know? |

ahhh I'm so jealous! I wanted to go to see them so bad but the tickets for around me sold out in 5 minutes.
i'm really really surprised I got them, but I had the cheapest seats, which were 100 :X
