Sad to say that my very first entry is completely underwhelming. Nothing really worth noting has happened to me today, but I didn't have the patience to wait for something interesting to happen to me, so now I'm writing. I've actually kept more personal journals when I was much younger (classic pen to paper type), so this isn't entirely new to me. Sharing my thoughts and days with the world is new, however.

I just remembered something that happened to me today! It's pretty embarrassing, actually. While I was painting some of my table top game figures, I decided to make some jasmine tea that my father brought home with him when he last visited. I was boiling the water in a kettle and I think I must have fallen asleep, because the next thing I knew I was opening my eyes and I smelled smoke! I ran into the kitchen and saw that the water had completely evaporated and the kettle that was once blue was now BLACK! It was pretty terrible... I'm going to have to go out later and buy a new one, or start microwaving water in a mug, ha.

It's too bad the most interesting thing that happened to me today was so unfortunate, but I'm glad that nothing else was damaged. I think I would have absolutely died if I burned the house down! Er, well, I probably would have if I was asleep and that happened, but that isn't what I mean.

I'm a little tired again right now, so I'll write again later.
