After teens fly...
Avalon slept late this morning in a quiet house - in fact he was rather amazed to wake up alone in his own bed without a Josh nearby. After a long shower and some breakfast, Ava goes and does homework for a while until eventually his head swims and he is unable to really think straight. Not wanting to leave the house with everyone off and away, he decides to go out to the back yard and practice dancing.
Dance is something that Avalon has never been able to do, before Earth. He would watch other dance and try, but his wings made it hard for him to move on land with such grace. It wasn't until he came to Earth and learned how to use constructs the way that Henry does, that he was ever able to seal his wings away and be able to simply move without being dragged down by them.
And so, Avalon looses track of time in the back yard working on his dance. He's somehow managed to get into an upper freshman dance class at school, but that doesn't mean that he knows what he's doing. He's been watching ballet videos and learning what he can from the internet, but it takes time. And he's a busy kid.
By the time anyone finds him, he's so far off in his own little world, he doesn't even notice them coming.
