Homework really sucks.
Avalon hasn't been having the easiest time in school. In fact, it's gotten to the point where he's needed to accept help or get behind. The Sunday afternoon has been nice though - Hal took the day off and hung out with the kids around the house, and now he's up in his bedroom answering emails and surfing the web while the kids work on homework.
That is why Avalon's laying on his belly in the middle of Henry's bedroom floor, working on some math homework that has taken far too long if you asked him. They've already finished the History and the English - which was also really hard - but at least it's hit a point where Avalon doesn't need to have someone right next to him for every step of the way. Math is math is math no matter what planet you are on, after all.
Sighing, Avalon props his chin into his hand and looks to Henry as he says "I swear; my brain is about to melt out of my ears."
