Laughing a bit at Josh's reaction, not in an ugly way but just more amused, Avalon flexes his wings and leads them down into the atmosphere at a sedate (for him) pace. Soon the clouds open up around them, revealing bright green jungle and wild plant life. Odym is farther along on the evolutionary scale than Starhaven was, and so these jungles are more like the Amazon than Land of the Lost. Birds wheel in the skies around them, tipping their wings so that they may fly closer and check the teens out as they descend. Avalon takes them down, and then starts to slide them through the warm air towards a more inhabited part of the planet. "I need to check in first, then I'm sure we can go exploring around for a bit. They won't need me till tomorrow." Avalon says with a big grin.
