"Oh, well then.. nevermind," Alex muttered back, taking a drag from her cigarette and listening closely to the woman's explanation. She seemed fine enough, a little frumpy looking, but she was better company than what was hanging around the ice rink that afternoon. "I don't know why you'd want to visit this place," she added.
Watching Gemma light her cigarette, Alex couldn't help but crack her own grin at her words. "You said it. There are many more things to be concerned about. The staff, of course, is sub-par. But the students they let into here.. that's the real shit show, isn't it? Sluts and morons, they're totally boorish individuals, all of them! Some people's children indeed," she sighed, shaking her head.
"I've been asking daddy to allow me to transfer to somewhere closer to home, but he insists that there is tradition in this.. foul place. I don't know what tradition is worth this!"
