1) Alura actually meets Will while trying to return home. It had been suggested that flying around the rock of Eternity the correct number of times would allow for time travel. This fails to work, and he offers to take her out for lunch as a consolation.
2) A friendship of sorts is struck up, with Will dropping by Metropolis more often.
3) Through it all, Alura is happy, but always seems rather guarded, never willing to say much.
4) She eventually decides to say screw destiny when Dr. Sivana, near death from cancer, revives Mr. Atom and sends him like a missile to Fawcett City. Alura tells will she knows that if he goes to stop it, he'll die.
5) Even armed with this knowledge... Will does the right thing. Alura is left to wonder if she could have changed anything at all. |
