I present my AS exam piece (the one with the dancer and the skull) for your perusal.
Ooh, and I finished watching "Homecoming". Good golly gosh, I can't count the number of times I was shocked into taking the Lord's name in vain, if only to tell the characters to RUN THE FRICK AWAY.
I had no idea that the little fey-looking woman (I forget her name...) was superpowered. Um... so either she's a mind-controller or things she says become true. In the second instance, I'd really hope that she wouldn't say something like "two and two is three", which would cause the entire fabric of the universe to be remade. Though it'd be funny if the bigass New York explosion was caused not by a bomb or Radioactive Man, but by Truth Woman getting a sum wrong.
Well, apart from the bit where everyone dies.
I can't work out Claire's dad. He does evil things for good reasons! I don't know what to think about him! D: Which is... actually a good thing. Complex characters for the win!
Speaking of Claire, those cheerleaders must be made of sterner stuff than I am, if they could talk about matey-boy there doing "nothing" to them without freaking the hell out and giving the flower-beds a water while they were at it. Bastard. O.o And speaking of complex characters (or at least tenuously linking to that topic), I'm glad that Sylar's getting out there, chasing people with locker doors and getting truth-sleeped (for instance), rather than just sort of lurking in the shadows. Not that there's anything wrong with lurking in the shadows, and he also does a lot of that, but I love villains who go out and do things and interact instead of sitting and cackling and being mysteriously evil.
That telephone message he left gives me the creeps. Show of hands who reckons that the good doctor was the "dying victim" who gave the police the name of Sylar?
Also, random thought, Sylar has about ten million powers. I've been trying to work them all out. There's the telekinesis, plus maybe regeneration (shrugging off the bullets and the fall), plus whatever let him escape the police (flying? super speed? intangibility? It might not be the first as he didn't fly when Peter knocked him off the roof, unless he was caught by surprise; the last would also explain why he leaves no physical evidence of breaking and entering people's homes), plus whatever's letting him find all the heroes in the first place (maybe he's psychic, or can sense them, or something; though there's also the possibility that he just has a copy of the scientist's software).
