"I can't get specific, but I think that the [Petrelli] family as it's been structured between the four of us -- myself, Peter, Angela and Claire -- is going to open up a bit. You're going to have more insight into how that all came to pass. And it's either going to unfold like a cheap sweater, or it's going to be put back together very carefully by some talented people from the outside. We're all privy to what happens at the end and it does posit a new place that season two will pick up from.

"I do manage to pull some information, prior to the scripts being released; sometimes I don't. But I'm never confused by anything. It's always well laid out. Having said that, there are surprises when we read the scripts. We're just as enraptured reading them as, I think, the audience is watching the show. They're that exciting to read."

"I've had a lot of thought put into [season 2], as to what really my motives are. There are still a lot of questions that I hope might be answered in the second volume, called 'Generations'. That title might intimate there'll be more news about what has gone on before, what might go on in the future. I thought at the beginning that it was my husband who had the powers, and so it's just been a thrill ride."

"The Sylar character profoundly changed Mohinder. He grew so much in those episodes -- it was very much an awakening for him. I enjoyed working with Zachary. I hope that I get back together with Sylar at one point or another. I know I shouldn't, because that means I'm going to die, but we bounce off one another well."

"I'm excited about how [season 2] starts for [Mohinder]. He's so much stronger, which I think makes sense for this character. He's come from a foreign country, landed in this place and has no idea what's going on, so he's grown a much thicker skin. My character is travelling around the world for the first four or five episodes, so I'm in contact with no-one, just meeting the new characters. In particular, there's one new actor coming up who I'm so excited to work with: Richard Schiff... his character is going to have a profound effect on mine. I have no idea where they'll take it, but it's going to be cool and to work with an actor of his calibre is going to be great."

"For me, it was a choice that I made in 'Distractions', when I went to the Bennet house as the paper salesman. I made the choice to lay on the sickeningly sweet, loosely Southern accent on top of whatever I was doing in the scene," he said, as he valiantly fended off the advances of the smitten interviewers. "It was the genesis and then it continued for me as an actor to draw on the characteristics of the other characters that I was killing. There were choices I made in scenes to bring echoes of those characters to what I was doing. I just felt like I wanted to give it another layer for people to plug into."
