OH NO, IT'S VIRGINIA GRAY, GET IN THE CAR! [Jan. 25th, 2008|11:42 am]

Or, well, Swainston. Yup, it's my Teen!Virginia headvoice rearing its surprisingly pretty head again.

(Speaking of which, I still need an angry icon of her. Dangit. I should stop abusing Google Images and get my ass over to Stripedwall: there should be one of angry!Ginny somewhere.)

You can ignore this post if you like: it's just me trying to get her straight in my head. Also, I do realise that I now have two precanonical teenaged members of the Gray family residing in my synapses. I didn't plan it this way, all right? :O

Virginia Swainston is seventeen, and the mollycoddled only daughter of a couple of well-to-do Manhattan residents. She's a bit of a control freak (ahaha, I say 'a bit'), with a vivid imagination: she's got one of those huge ornate doll's houses with the rooftop garden and the scary little china dolls. If "The Sims" had been invented back then, let's just say that she'd probably have grown up only seeing daylight through the window. That kind. And she draws stuff, with some competence. Scarily enough, she also writes crappy little stories, and in my head she's a bit of a Suethor of improbably soppy romance. >.> Hey, I'm just relaying these things.

She's been brought up strictly Catholic, but she likes to think of herself as a bit of a rebel. ...Chyeah. I wouldn't take her word for this, however: we've mentioned she was coddled, right? Just staying out late is rebellious. She's one of those kids who thought they were pushing boundaries when all they were doing was confirming that there were none. (Leniant parents, yo! Except when it comes to religious stuffs. Obviously.) Also, she has a current boyfriend, known to the world as Abraham Gray. Her parents would not approve of their relationship. But, you know, it was her first time, and she jumped up and down straight after, and she made up a hot water bottle for her stomach, so nothing could possibly result from it.

Which is a relief, because she has her entire future planned out, and it doesn't include babies until she's exactly twenty-five. In Virginia's mind at least, this will give her time to travel the world, achieve fame as an artist, and meet and marry a poet after a whirlwind romance with him. Then the babies will be twins, a boy and a girl, and they will both be named after angels. Won't it be just perfect?

Ooh ooh Pyth, if I do bring her to Shatterverse, can she already have a Gabe-shaped bun in her oven? Obvs he's unlikely to end up being called Gabriel if she finds her way to the Cooper farm (two already? It's suddenly not so unique!), but she has an idea for a replacement. (Emmanuel, Pyth. She wants to call him Emmanuel. THE POOR KID. D:)
