| I surrendered. >_> |

It's that icon meme that's been going around! I finally caved.
Also, in case anyone else wants me to pick out five of their icons to explain, just say so! Let's spread the icon love, guys!
smeddley requested -- nay, demanded -- explanations for these five beasties:
For the uninitiated, that's Sylar from Heroes, in his Highly Crafty Disguise as Zane Taylor. So were you watching that scene in Zane's apartment? That's what he says. It is.
...All right, so he was offering Mohinder tea. But 'tea' is only a codeword. It is.
...All right, so maybe it was just an offer of tea, but tea can lead to other things. It can. Things like bondage and ceiling!sex. Thus, my icon is justified.
So I was cruising around for an icon to put across enthusiasm and/or unreasonable joy, and I realised that I also had no icons to put across my love of Avatar: The Last Airbender. So I found that one, and went YAYOMG. And now? I have three Avatar icons. I solved that shortage, so I did.
Because the best kind of hugs come from cuddly nutcases who burst into song at odd times and also can act people's pants off. And everyone needs one, sometimes. Additionally? In a poll thing ages ago, I was voted Matt Parkman (from Heroes again, played by Grunberg). You can relax, though, because I have sworn to use my awesome powers of Grunnyhugging for good, not evil.
:D That, my friends, is the charming mug of one Gene Hunt from Life on Mars. Gene Hunt is a feminist's nightmare. On the other hand, Gene Hunt is also the most awesome thing ever to awesome, even if Ashes to Ashes (which I personally think of as The Gene Hunt Show: Series 2) does keep threatening to make him a parody of himself. Gene Hunt has a bigger gun than you. Gene Hunt kicks criminal posterior. Gene Hunt is Gene Hunt is Gene Hunt.
Basically, to understand this icon, you must know that HRG (Heroes again) is Morally Gray, and that he does not appreciate superpowered serial killers falling backwards into his precious fridge door when he shoots them. Oh, and there was some stuff with his wife as well, but mainly he was worried about the fridge. Just look at the fury in his eyes. |
