So I was booting up the computer, anticipating Drama research and maybe a little TORCing on the side, when:-- Hummmm... crackle! *silence*
...And darkness descended upon Middle-earth.
No, seriously. It was a B.F.P.C. (read: Big Effing Power Cut) and was it just our house? Nope. Was it our whole street? Nope. How about our town? Think bigger. It couldn't be half our county, could it? Damn straight.
Here's a tip: never go to the loo in the pitch black. It's an unnerving experience, especially when you flush it. (I'd turned the torch off because the batteries were dying.) O.o
As you've probably guessed since I'm on the computer, the power's back on. That was great fun, let's never do it again. :P
