AIM (if you have one): awesomelymusical
Character Name: Danielle "Dani" Cage/Diamond
Character LJ (if applicable): [info]danielle_cage
Physical description (face, build, weight):
Age: 18
Birthday: January 22nd
PB: Rihanna
Abilities: Danielle inherited her father's superhuman strength, stamina, and durability. Also, like her father, Danielle's skin is as hard as titanium steel and her bone tissues a greater density that of a normal human, making it easy for her to withstand injuries. Has also inherited her father's acelerated healing factor. Danielle has also been trained in the marital arts and other forms of combat by her father, the Avengers, and her "godfather" Iron Fist.
Weaknesses and flaws: Danielle's "hard as nails" skin is a hindrance to her, should she sustain injuries that should cause her to require surgery, such as internal injuries. Though her skin can lacerated by a high powered laser or of weapons constructed of adamantium, these are not readily available or accessed easily.
Character location/Home: Avenger's Mansion, New York City
Alignment (villain, hero etc): Hero.
Relatives (living/dead?): Luke Cage (father), Jessica Jones (mother), Daniel Rand/Iron Fist (godfather)
Backstory: Danielle Cage was born nine months after her parents wedding. Danielle was raised around her father's team, the Avengers, having play-dates with their children and watching her father as he went off on various missions and adventures with his team. Danielle's father was extremely protective of her, wanting to keep her safe from any and all harm. From a young age, Danielle's godfather, Daniel Rand trained her in combat, though Luke pretended to dislike this at first, he later encouraged his friend and helped his daughter in her training, and attempted to steer her away from wanting to venture down the path of a superhero in the future, telling her that her education should come first.

When she was six years old, Danielle first tapped into her abilities. She was helping her mother in the kitchen, making cookies and the rolling pin accidentally rolled under the fridge. Saying that she would get it, Danielle stuck her arm underneath the fridge to retrieve the rolling pin, and lifted it up over her head in the process. Jessica, shocked, called her husband to tell him about their daughter's new-found abilities. Luke, equally as shocked as his wife, brought her into the Avengers, for further testing. Luke was reluctant at first, as he didn't want any harm to come to Danielle, especially when it came to testing Danielle to see if she had also inherited his unbreakable skin. Wanting as little harm as possible to come to his daughter, the Avengers poked Danielle's skin with needles, only to find them break in half when they made contact with her skin.

Knowing that it was going to be almost impossible now to steer Danielle away from superheroics, Luke taught his daughter how to harness her abilities. At age sixteen, Danielle joined the next new group of Avengers...under a strict agreement with her father that her schoolwork would come first and foremost, and when she graduated from high school, then she could join with the Avengers full time if she wanted to. Recently, Danielle has graduated from high-school, and has joined with the Avengers full time, as well as juggling her studies at college, where she is presuing a degree in law enforcement.
How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: As a member of the Avengers.
What are you planning to do with this character?: Hero shenanigans.
What do you want to see happen with this character?: Working with the Avengers, finding her grounding in the hero community.

Sample post:
"He makes me so crazy sometimes," Danielle muttered under her breath. She was, of course, talking about her father, winner of the award for overprotective father of the year. "It was just ONE bullet, and it was to my arm. And in case he forgot, bullets just tickle me a little." She flopped down on her bed. Superhero work certainly was tiring when you had your father watching almost your every move. Thank GOD she'd moved into Avengers Mansion fulltime when she'd started up ESU.

She was resting her head on her pillow when her phone on her nightstand began to buzz. She only needed to hear the ringtone to know who it was. Rolling her eyes, Dani sat up to pick up her phone.

"Hi Daddy."
