Second the above notions that this reads like the prologue to a larger work. There could be all kinds of adventures trying to find a "proper" lady to court and having to fight through remote locations, overzealous bodyguards and older brothers, court intrigue plots, noble maidens who have no idea that they're being courted (contrary to written correspondence), and the inevitable gender confusion.

Query, is this family tree in the main AtLA canon, or an AU-verse?
