Responding to an entry about folks being afraid to change jobs because of pre-existing conditions or afraid to strike out on their own for fear of not having insurance at all, in the US health-care so-called-system:
"I had a friend who destroyed her GPA because she had to stay a full time student to be treated for breast cancer.
"She was nineteen."
