I don't think your head is in the same political space as most Americans. Not to say you're apolitical, just that so many Americans believed, at some level, "we're untouchable, we're invincible, and we're right about things." Whereas you strike me more as someone who thinks "we're a powerful nation, sure, we're a big nation, sure, and we espouse freedom but we're not so chivalrous that we have a right to invade other nations."
