She can still always identify a sorceror on meeting them by getting mild sniffles or sneezes.

He was still kicking himself a little for not asking Alina out, at least when, as usual, he had too much time to think. Thankfully, time to think wasn't too much of a problem with so much needing to get done. Currently, a distress call from Maria. He'd been told she had some kind of set up in mind and needed his help.
So... why did the call lead to a strip club?

He's not quite sure how she managed, but Maria talked Jon into carrying her out to this secluded island she knew of for a day in the sun. She can be sneaky like that.
And, well, that bikini is really something else.
Aside from her usual efforts to make him blush, everything was going pretty smoothly... til the kraken tried to sink the yacht and fishing boats out in the distance. They'd managed to rescue everyone, but there is definitely something weird going on here - and the kraken had sunk back into the ocean before he'd been able to try and deal with it... so still out there somewhere.
