This isn't normal
He's not quite sure how she managed, but Maria talked Jon into carrying her out to this secluded island she knew of for a day in the sun. She can be sneaky like that.

And, well, that bikini is really something else.

Aside from her usual efforts to make him blush, everything was going pretty smoothly... til the kraken tried to sink the yacht and fishing boats out in the distance. They'd managed to rescue everyone, but there is definitely something weird going on here - and the kraken had sunk back into the ocean before he'd been able to try and deal with it... so still out there somewhere.

Yeah, he was pretty sure, having seen her topless before, that she was wearing the bikini for his benefit. At least until she had a prime opportunity to get rid of it to get more blushing. Because its Maria.

"Well, can't have that thing threatening the area. Got to figure out who is behind it... but we might be stuck here for a bit til we figure out if anything else has been messed with or it reappears. Odd how it vanished like that. I should have been able to catch up with it."

	He was adorable when he blushed which was the reason why she went out of her way to make him blush. "I feel like we're in a Syfy original movie here. 	He considers that for a moment, then nods, launching up into the air and towards the far side of the island. He's only gone a few moments when some sort of neanderthalish creatures emerge from the woods, flinging spears towards her. Especially odd, since they hadn't made any sound at all in approach. 	"What the hell!?" she yelled and dived out of the way of the spears. Okay, she was never going to complain about those training sessions with Bruce interfering with her social life. 	The things are fast and strong, but certainly not as trained. The first one approaching is hit... and disappears in a flash of light. The rest try to surround her, shifting to group tactics to try and get an opening to grab her. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He smiles at that - which grows a little more wicked as he plunges into the darkness of a cave, then out into a lit chamber after several seconds. His grip shifts from carrying her to getting a firm grip of his own as he carries her towards what looks like a stone altar, complete with a high priestess in a leopard skin bikini carrying a wicked looking knife, flanked by a couple of robed sub-priests.

	He works on getting hold of her wrists to better be able to get her arms in place on the altar for the sub-priests to tie down. "Who needs a virgin? Any heart's blood will do just fine for giving the island's illusions true life. At least long enough to send a copy of you off the island to go and bring more people here." Unlike the previous illusions, this one seems an awful lot like the real thing, at least on initial contact, meaning headbutting him is a lot like a collision with a cement wall.

His grip tightens, and he grins cruelly while the other attempt to tie her legs down while 'Jon' is fighting with her hands.

"They managed to collect enough of his blood to make this illusion a little more like the real thing, sorry. The pterodactyls may not hold him forever, but they're still magical constructs... so they can hurt Kryptonians just fine."
