This isn't normal
He's not quite sure how she managed, but Maria talked Jon into carrying her out to this secluded island she knew of for a day in the sun. She can be sneaky like that.

And, well, that bikini is really something else.

Aside from her usual efforts to make him blush, everything was going pretty smoothly... til the kraken tried to sink the yacht and fishing boats out in the distance. They'd managed to rescue everyone, but there is definitely something weird going on here - and the kraken had sunk back into the ocean before he'd been able to try and deal with it... so still out there somewhere.

	By the time Maria sneaks down, things are in full swing. Jon managed to drop one of the priests right off, the other seems to be trying to hide. The two Superboys are battling back and forth, with the high priestess casting some sort of spell. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The priestess screeches, interrupting her spell - and around her, shadows start moving with a life of their own. Meanwhile, the two Superboys are locked in battle, back and forth as they smash each other into the cavern walls. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The priestess clearly doesn't have as much fighting skill as Maria, but does have a weapon. She swings her staff around, pointing it at Maria and speaking a single syllable, causing a magical blast. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	That's exactly what Maria was looking for. It knocked her back and into the wall. The breath whooshed out of her lungs, but she wasn't about to give up. She slid down to her feet and was moving again. She grabbed another rock and threw it at the priestess. She was right behind it, though this time she made a grab for the staff. 	The woman tries to get another blast off, but the rock hits her in time to disrupt it, and leaves her vulnerable when Maria goes for the disarm, ending up with the staff while the woman starts trying to flee. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She grabbed the staff and took aim at the priestess. Yes, she was a bit pissed off. The priestess went down and then Maria turned he staff on the shadow creatures. Once they were taken care of she turned her attention to the two Jons. "Codeword!" she yelled. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Both Jons look at her, their expressions almost matching - for one, its probably confusion. For the other, probably 'do I really have to say this?' But, you know, villains.
