Personality: Lily is a brilliant energetic girl with wide ideals of acceptance and love. She is kind hearted and very naturally a motherly sort who is quick witted and very easy to anger and very extremely bossy when she wants something done or when she’s upset. She is bold and outgoing and very outspoken and never afraid to speak her mind to anyone. She is passionate in all that she does and cares genuinely for every one of her friends. She’s adventurous and perpetually optimistic.

History: Lily Evans was born January 30th, 1960 to a muggle family in England. She was the younger of two siblings (sisters) and a very talented little girl. Growing up was fairly easy for Lily Evans despite the fact that she was very odd. She could do things most everyone else she knew couldn’t, not even her sister; she could reanimate dying flowers, fly in the air and turn things different colors even though she didn’t know how it happened.
The random bits of oddity made Lily’s parents nervous but they didn’t seek to oppress it, just expressed a desire that she not do it in public or do anything dangerous. As for her older sister Petunia, well there was awe and some jealousy from her that would later turn to bitter anger.
When Lily turned nine years old she met for the first time and befriended Severus Snape, a boy who lived down the block in Spinner’s End, he told her that day in the park that she was a witch and would go to school to learn magic just like he would. From that day forward Lily and Severus were the best of friends and got into random acts of trouble. Lily depended heavily on Severus’ information about the magical world and somehow she knew that he never lied to her.
In 1971 Lily was accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry just like Severus had said. Her acceptance launched the bitterest parting between her and Petunia who was not accepted and it was the beginning of their eventual drift and dislike for each other. September 1st, 1971 Lily Evans also met James Potter, a boy she would later marry, and Sirius Black a boy she despised for the majority of her time at school.
Lily was sorted into Gryffindor House with James and Sirius while Severus went to Slytherin which made their relationship rather rocky but it held together for a long time until 5th year when Severus articulated his disgust at her being muggle-born, a singular most ignorant comment that destroyed their friendship completely. Lily went her way and Severus went his.
In 7th year, Lily finally accepted James’ request to date him and they apparently fell in love and would one day be married, this is where her history is left off to the musings of this group.
Current Situation/Recent History: She graduated from school and is currently living with James Potter in Godric’s Hollow, they’re not married yet.
Living Arrangements: Living in Godric’s Hollow with James Potter not yet in hiding.
Profession: Order Member and trainee to become an auror.

Hobbies/Interests: Lily is a hippie and very much into nature. She likes being outside and taking walks through the woods or just sitting in the park or on the lawn somewhere. She likes to read but doesn’t do so for fun as her rampant fiery spirit doesn’t allow it. She enjoys quick witted banter and generally just joking around with people. She plays her own pranks on friends but not to the extent that James and Sirius do.
Common Knowledge About the Character: Lily is a fiery outspoken girl that is never afraid to speak the uncomfortable thoughts. She's a bold Gryffindor and one time friend of Severus Snape though their relationship didn't last beyond 5th year. She's in love with and eventually planning on marrying James Potter. She's not much of a fan of Sirius but her hatred of him cooled off a bit once her and James got together. Magically, Lily is extremely talented in charms and transfiguration. Her patronus is a silver doe.

Third Person RP Example: Lily almost jumped out of her skin when she heard the tapping, the sound causing her to slice her finger on a particularly sharp piece of glass, the sting drawing a muffled curse from her lips. But she paid no attention, instead snatching up her wand to point it at the window. But then the goofy Slytherin appeared and all her suspicions and dare she think it, fear, faded away. With a roll of her eyes the girl set her wand back down on the bedside table, wrapped her bleeding finger in her sweater and neared the window. She stood and stared at Severus for a brief moment, pretending that she wasn't going to open the window for him but soon after let the charade fade away and reached out to lift it. "What are you doing?" she demanded immediately and regretted the tone of her voice. There was no need to take her anger out on her best friend. Lily sighed softly and stepped back, "Come in before my mum sees you and calls the police for trying to intrude. And keep quiet before Petunia comes crawling around to spy. And close the curtains." Lily might not like to be angry at the boy, but that never stopped her from bossing him around when she was upset. With a scoff, the redhead stepped away from both the Slytherin boy and her window in favor or searching her drawer for a band-aid. It was her stupidity for breaking the picture so this little cut she'd let heal on its own rather than with magic. Lily's room was in fact, a girl's room; there was no pink paint on the walls or the bedspread or anything though, but rather sky blue and pale green. There was a tall dresser in the corner, and on the other side her bed sat pressed against the wall, the bedspread was white with little bright flower patterns sewn into it. Next to it was a vanity with a high mirror decorated with various pictures of her and her friends both in the magical world and out, the corners of the mirror littered with stringed beads in forms of necklaces and bracelets.. Beside the mess of girlish contraptions of hair clips and rubber-bands the glass slivers had been deposited, Lily returning to them after bandaging her finger in order to brush them into the bin with a hand. "Sit down."
