The characters of Deep in the Woods:
These are based off of original characters I played in a rpg. These are the faces I chose to represent them. The word under their name is their particular magic ability. Most are elemental, but some are a little more interesting. The first coven convened around 25 years ago (ah yes, the 80s). The second coven convenes in the present. There are some connections (biological/ability-wise) and parallels (history repeating). The first coven is told as flashbacks. The second coven is told as it unfolds. Some of the first coven is told in present day, still reeling with the repercussions of their actions 25 years prior.
Characters in blue are the four corners: earth, air, fire, water; they are the base of every circle and the glue that holds a disparate coven of abilities together. Air and fire are always the high priest and high priestess (regardless of gender); these are the two leaders who begin and end each casting. Their will directs the coven's actions.
Characters with a gray background are deceased.
