Spoke with Leon over email, because I burned a CD for him and left it at his door. He was guarded, still somewhat rude, but he wasn’t so violently belligerent as he was at our first meeting. He actually asked me questions and seemed curious of my motives. My great concern is that he spoke of committing suicide. Leon seems to have a lot that he is dealing with and remarks about suicide should never be ignored. I did let him know he should call me if he should ever seriously think to do such a thing and he jokingly agreed. Could Leon, in his way be reaching out to me? I wonder. I think I will check up on him in a few days, even though I know it will get me a tongue-lashing.
