Cavalier, Lisette:

I’m late updating my file on Lisette. I had my encounter with her on New year’s Eve. Knowing she was a practitioner, and probably some high priestess or something, of Voodoo, I followed her into New Orleans, where her family has a shop called Cavalier Voodoo. I knew that if I watched her long enough, she would do something…I don’t know…dark! Unfortunately, I think she spotted me and ran. I followed her back to Sam’s NYE party where she surprised me. We talked and she was very evasive, while curious about my motives in following her. She volunteered to demonstrate a Voodoo ritual for me one day, however, I believe it will be just a show, like the ones they put on for tourists. I haven’t given up on Listte Cavalier by a long shot. I believe she is hiding something and I intend to find out what it is. Now that I have purchased a great quantity of listening devices, I will plant some around her family’s store. I have noted that she is not terribly social, but I did see her with Jools Le Gallo one day. Where does Jools fit into Lisette’s life? Accomplice, innocent bystander…victim?

Note to self: Keep an eye on Jools Le Gallo.
