Heeding the call for volunteers by Headmistress Pendragon, I have enlisted in the search for the mysterious bat-like creatures that have been terrorizing our campus. This is truly an enterprise fraught with danger, but I feel I am up to the challenge and may be instrumental in subduing said monstrosities. I did notice, however, that a few suspect people signed up for this mission as well. On the list before me were, right in a row, Lisette Cavalier, Emilie Devilin and Ciaran Stoyanov…coincidence? We’ll see. Perhaps, in this monster hunt, the hunters could be more dangerous than the prey! Maybe the creatures will recognize the very witch or wizard that summoned them.

A note of reflection…even though I’m a bit suspicious of Emilie, I really have no solid proof that she has done anything; Just her association with Stoyanov. In the past few days, I can’t help but feel that maybe I was an asshole when I dealt with her. So she was moody and she called me an asshole and a retard…so what! Leon was a thousand times worse and I was calm, friendly and understanding with him. Sure, I might understand what Leon is going through, but maybe Emilie is going through something too. Just because I don’t understand it, does that make it right for me to talk to her like I did? Man, I feel bad. I think I owe her an apology, even though she did blow up my painting. I won’t tell her she did me a favor, because my new painting is so much better.
