Weekend Over!

Well starting with Friday, I got a bunch of work done in the AM. I actually had a fair amount, more then I thought I would have. I did a lot of preparation for the server work we did this weekend. Obviously I didn't get everything covered because we did hit a few snags while upgrading the servers. So after I got my work done I got all my gear packed up and headed to where the servers are kept. I worked on more prep work while there and then [info]emilie came. She bought some stuff I forgot which was good.

Around 1pm the guy from GMA came out and checked over our lines and everything. We ended up splitting the voice and data wires and then we ran a cable directly from the data lines and pretty much right into the modem. Definitely noticed a BIG improvement and now I've noticed 0 disconnections since yesterday which is awesome. So now Scribbld should be up and running at 100%!

I don't think anything spectacular happened on Friday night. I attempted to get to bed early so that I could wake up early and start working at 8am like I mentioned.

.... interruption....

I just sent this photo to Keith, he should obviously get this instead of iPhone --

.... ok back to your regularly scheduled program ....

So I woke up a bit later then I had wanted to on Saturday, but by 8:20am we were working on the server. The first snag we hit was that one of the web servers wouldn't connect to the Internet. it's NIC module wasn't be loaded. Fortunately after some poking around and chatting on #Gentoo I got it working and made sure it loaded up on boot too.

The next snag we hit was the server to be Scribbld 1 ran some rather new hardware so it had trouble finding the hard drive. After bother #Debian I remembered the last time we installed Linux on it we had to use this special custom build which included drivers for all this new stuff. So after getting a bootable USB key we got the base system installed.

The last major snag we hit was we forgot to snag the Last.fm code from the development box so that feature was "disabled" until we could get to it today.

[info]morgan and I worked until 10pm or so last night. We pretty much finished up all the big things and had about 8-10 smaller things left to do today. We did 2-3 of them today, the rest we'll complete over the course of the next 2 weeks. I don't expect it to take that long though.

[info]emilie and I went to the barn this afternoon, played with the kitties, Bethany did really well in her A circuit show this past week. We almost brought another kitty home, we'll see. When I got home I added the Last.fm code and made sure it worked and it did. I'm just working on another Gentoo install for a private WoW server. I am hoping I can bring the databases over from the old percheron install, but you never know.

Alright, I think it's time to go relax and no more computer!

Coding, Coding, and More Coding

I've been pretty busy with getting another job, consulting and attempting to upgrade Scribbld's code base. [info]morgan and I have been working for the last 2 days on getting the code up to date. We're running it all on a development server which is really nice. I can get a lot of work done there without having to worry about screwing up the live site, always a plus! Basically the major new feature is the ability to have the Music field on the Update page auto-populate with your latest track on Last.fm (should have an account there). Definitely cool!

Besides updating the development code, we've also turned the chat server back on and now instead of having to type in your username that will automatically work (should you be logged in). Since the Chat link only shows up when you're logged in, it should work 98% of the time. The other 2% is people might have the link bookmarked and so when they hit it and they're NOT logged in, it'll give them a nickname like Anon4829 or something.

I've also emailed my ISP about the recent connection dropping between them and the servers, and other equipment. Hopefully they can help me figure out if it's their end or my end. Hopefully it's theirs haha.

On Wednesday I went riding. It was really nice even though we mostly walked around the ring, we did trot a bit, but I was just so beat after working that I just wanted to take it easy. It was a lot of fun though, sure relieves a lot of stress and gives you some time to clear your head. That's what I enjoy most about horses and riding, it's a good time to just focus on that and nothing else, plus you can talk to your horse about anything and nothing have to worry about it!

As for getting another job, that's pretty much 100% finalized which is great, one less thing to worry about. I'll be working at the University of Vermont as a mini (and by mini, I mean just me) IT department for the Center for Disability or something. It'll be fun. Pay is decent, obviously nothing close to consulting, but it'll do just fine.

Anyways, I hope that either this weekend or next (probably next) we can get the Scribbld live site updated to the new code. I think I am going to give Scribbld the quad-core box and one of the dual-core will be a full time development server. So that's the plan as of right now.

I played some Star Fox Adventures last night, it's getting to be a lot more fun now that I've found a guide on GameFAQs. I just hate messing around in a game, trying to figure out what to do, I just don't have time for that. I gotta get going on Final Fantasy III too.

So that's about it for now, I thought about going riding today and I might, I think I am going to relax my poor head hurts, I've not done this much coding in a long time, not fun, code sucks!! Maybe I'll watch Hancock.

Quick One

This might be a relatively quick post. I'm pretty busy and I'm trying to spend some time with [info]emilie since I didn't get to really last night.

On Saturday I went up to Milton with David and played some airsoft. It was relatively lame because the area was large and there was maybe 10 people. I guess it was okay, it was something to do at least. On Sunday Emilie and I just hung out, went to the barn and had fun, then went to my parents for dinner which was nice.

Today, I had another appointment in Burlington for something which I shall leave un-named for the moment. It actually went well though. After that I had consulting appointment and that too went really well. I got some really yummy banana bread out of it :)

Last night I pretty much spent like 4 hours getting Unrealircd and Anope working. Obviously [info]morgan helped and we pretty much finished it up. There's a little bit left of configuration to do. We tried to get an Eggdrop bot to work, but we might have to have someone else do that for us, as we're pretty much clueless on how it works. For the moment, I am completely satisfied with how it works. I just wanted a basic chatroom where I have some bit of control. That way if people are being dumb I can just kick or ban them. Definitely join up though, I am thinking about putting a big chat button somewhere haha

Tonight, just relaxing, Emilie is making her amazingly delicious calzones, so I can't wait for that. We're watching Star Wars: Episode I right now, I would love to take a cold shower at some point too.

Anyways, I hope everyone has a lovely day and a lovely week, I do hope I have time to post again shortly :)

To Massachusetts

Well, it sure has been a crazy couple of days. On Wednesday, [info]emilie had to go in for some emergency surgery. Fortunately it went well and everything is okay. I ended up going to the hospital around 9:30pm that night. When I got there she was in the OR so I pretty much waited around for a couple hours. I did get to read some of my Game Informer magazine from....last year...haha I am SOOOO behind on my magazines. I have a couple Macworlds from 2005 lol. Finally, they got her situated in a nice room and I spent the night. Around 10pm or so, Scribbld crapped out. Rather someone unplugged the power strip the modem sits on so access to everything died. But it was about 3am and I was to tired to log into the Tumblr site and post an update so I am sorry about that!

I pretty much got no sleep cause I was sleeping in this chair and it just wasn't the greatest. On Thursday we hung out and waited for the doctors and stuff and finally got the leave around 1-2pm. We pretty much just came home. Went for a little walk so she could pick up some pain drugs, she also got a nice little puzzle (alright 750 little itty bitty pieces) and then just relaxed. I believe I took a nap, AND then around 6pm, I finally got someone to turn the power strip back on. So yeah, sorry!!

I've been making a lot of critters in Spore, I also made this little YouTube clone site so I could upload my own videos. Check it out! What a pain in the butt to get working. After making symbolic links to the video encoder applications in Linux, I found the settings panel where I could have simply have changed the paths lol Oh well, it works pretty well and I am pretty happy with the software. I just need to make a new for it and a new logo... I also uploaded some images. I am definitely quite happy with the Creature Creator, for $10, you definitely cannot go wrong! I do kind of wish there was more parts, I know there's a lot, but I want more!!

Today Emilie and I went to breakfast at this wonderful little, er maybe big diner right by the hospital. Then after that I dropped her off to get her car. She had to run into work quickly to setup her schedule for next week. Probably half-days. I'm just doing some emails, forums, Scribbld stuff now...I think I may go watch some TV or something, I've got a consulting call to do.

I hope everyone has a lovely day and a lovely weekend. I'll be down in Massachusetts at two OPs, one at Ghost Town and one HUGE (400+ people), Tears of the Sun at TOLCOM. Hopefully I don't get shot too many times!

New Horse Gear!

When I looked yesterday evening this morning to see where my order from State Line was it was down in CT, but just today, when I got home from lunch it was sitting there in-front of the door! The muck bucket isn't as big as I thought it was but, it'll be nicer then that broken bucket at the barn. I wanted to take some photos and post it, but the flash on my Canon is dead...even after ripping it apart it still won't work (note to anyone who rips apart their digital camera, make sure you know what you're doing because it can be dangerous)! I think the flash bulb is busted so I'll probably end up getting a new camera. I was looking at the Canon SD1000 or 750, both would work fine for me at the moment. I saw a commercial for the Canon XSi, whoa. I want it.

So yesterday, I spent most of it working on a silly/fun/lame/cool site, mostly going to be used for development on Scribbld but under a different name - DramaJournal.net haha so go play around with it. It's probably pretty buggy and full of issues, but that's what a dev server is supposed to be like.

Today, I worked on adding some of the features from DJ to Scribbld. I did get the navigation bar here...and I managed to get some more moodthemes installed. I changed mine to the whitekaos haha AND I changed my layout. I like it! I just need to change the links and add some text blurbs.

I think I might head to the barn now, seeing as the weather isn't so hot and I've got all these fun things!

Have a lovely day everyone!

WWDC, SVN & More

It's been a busy couple of days. Mostly working from home, just researching and getting things together for people. Yesterday I put in like 2.5 hours, today about an hour, maybe a bit more. I just can't handle this heat, I am about to just go sit in the bath tub or something because this is ridiculous.

The horses are pretty pissed off too, they're dying out there. It's just way to hot. Currently there's a tornado watch in effect for Vermont, they always say that, but nothing happens. I mean this is Vermont, come on. I would be very surprised to see such a thing here. I've been enjoying the ice though, we got this like no brander cones and they're actually really good believe it or not. I've mostly been staying indoors too, even though it's still way to hot inside. We've given the horses baths, so hopefully that should help cool them down momentarily. Nippet was being a complete asshole about, so I gave a few good smacks, didn't really seem to help though...even Buddy was better about it then him was I found to be unusual. Definitely haven't been riding them in the heat, hopefully it cools down soon because I really need to get riding.

I've been trying to figure out if I can get into the Equine Science program at UVM, of course it's taking forever...I might as well as make some phone calls, because these people don't seem to check their email. I have a feeling even if it is open to me, I won't be able to get in because I didn't take calculus or chemistry in college, in high school I did do chemistry, but screw calculus. I really dislike mathematics, of course you really need to know if for that program, so we'll see.

I've finally gotten Subversion up and running and I really like it. I'm just a bit annoyed that I have another step in my process, instead of just making changes to a file, uploading it to a server and then synching it across the servers, I now have to make changes, commit them to Subversion, then upload it to a server and synch it across the other servers. So it's like an extra step, but it makes sense, it just sucks. But I am sure it'll come in handy when it comes time to update the whole code base and such. Or when I break something I can just go back a version. I am using this new OS X application, Version, which is WOW. It definitely makes my journey into using Subversion quite easy.

WWDC Thoughts )

Hrmm, so besides roasting alive here, things have been well, I've been watching a lot of HorseGirlTV and catching up on old (we're talking 2005/2006) issues of various magazines. Haha I am a slow reader lol.

I believe that's all for now, I am going to get something cool to drink/eat.

A Complete Website

For the longest time, I've always wanted a website, that contained a blog, a photo gallery and maybe some simple message boards. The answer might be a CMS based system, but I feel that is really to large and really to featured for what I had in mind. After ages of trying out hundreds of software packages I think I have something that's going to work for me. This article here is going to explain the process of getting 3 pieces of software to work (hopefully) together. Those are:

  • WordPress

  • ZenPhoto

  • bbPress

  • So let's begin the journey of this project, shall we?!

    Day 1: Well I am sure if you could really call this day 1 as I've been using WordPress for a while. I had installed bbPress once before, but was turned off the instant I saw the homepage of it. It's SOOO BLAND and I have no experience in CSS and styling at all. So today I installed it again and actually read some documentation on how to style it an all. I ended up using the CSS style from this K2 theme. I think that'll prove benificial in the end because I do want it all integrated. I plan to actually re-install bbPress to my ASO server so integrating these will be easier.

    I just found out about ZenPhoto yesterday and I spent quite some time just playing with it and installing it several places. Currently it sits on a local Gentoo Linux box.

    I think I will leave it there and see if I can just PHP include it since my photos take up a lot of space that I don't have on the ASO server but have on my Gentoo box. I will probably also style that to match K2 and this layout so everything look the same (again hopefully).

    So basically...I will do bbPress first. I will then style that with CSS code. I will use the K2 style.css as a base and work off that. Getting that and WordPress integrated is my first objective. Please note, I know no CSS and no PHP. This is going to be one heck of a project.

    -- Later in the day... --

    Alright, I have got bbPress installed on the ASO server and that seems to be working. I actually dropped the K2 style sheet and just started working off the ZenPhoto.org/support/ stylesheet. It was easier and "less bloated". I say that because the K2 stylesheet was made for WordPress and has many more definitions that I don't need. Of course figure out which ones I do and don't need would take to long and I like to cheat a little.

    So bbPress is working a-ok. I then tried to include the K2 header and I got some error about wp_title() not working so I removed the actual call to that in header.php for the K2 theme and just wrote it in manually. That did fix that error. But now you have the bbPress AND the K2 headers calling 2 different stylesheets...that didn't work out so well. So I remove the K2 header include from the bbPress header.

    I then continued to edit the stylesheet and change things around a little. I up'd the H2 to 2em and I changed some of the widths and stuff so when I eventually get it into the K2 layout it will work.

    Then I worked on ZenEdit itself. I added a TON OF PHOTOS, so feel free to check them out and leave some comments :) I am trying to get the Gravatar hack working. I signed up for an account on ZenPhoto.org this morning and they said they would send an email with my password in a few minutes...that was 6-7 hours ago :\

    I changed around a couple options in the layout. I made it so it has a blue background around the image no matter if it was visited or un-visited. I changed the background color to a light light grey...I might even go lighter...actually yeah, I just did and I like it a lot more, using #EDEDED now.

    So everything is setup...it's just getting them into the K2 layout. The hard part...but hey, for day one, I am not doing that bad!

    Day 2 & 3: Alright, I did a lot of work since and I've already figured a ton of things out. I posted on ZenPhoto about trying to get WP2.0 and ZP working together. They had this bit of code:

    /* Start Wordpress */
    define('WP_USE_THEMES', false);
    require($_SERVER["DOCUMENT_ROOT"].'/journal/wp-blog-header.php');
    /* Start zenphoto */
    require_once("zen/template-functions.php");
    $themepath = 'themes';
    $theme = $_zp_gallery->getCurrentTheme();
    $_zp_themeroot = WEBPATH . "/$themepath/$theme";
    if (in_context(ZP_IMAGE)) {
    include("$themepath/$theme/image.php");
    } else if (in_context(ZP_ALBUM)) {
    include("$themepath/$theme/album.php");
    } else if (in_context(ZP_INDEX)) {
    include("$themepath/$theme/index.php");
    }

    Basically that allows you to use WordPress funtions in ZenPhoto or whatever you include it, i.e. bbPress also. So I did that but nothing seemed to work. If you notice this line of code from that require($_SERVER["DOCUMENT_ROOT"].'/journal/wp-blog-header.php');. That would obviously not work in my situation. I have ZP and WP installed on 2 different servers, so I had to change that to include 'http://www.equestrianhonor/wp-blog-header.php' instead. And it seemed to work because i had no call errors or anything. The stupid thing looked the exact same as when it didn't have that code though. So I tried messing with that stuff for hours, calling the header and footer files but nothing seemed to work.

    So then I tried working more with bbPress since WP and bbPress were on the same server and I used the same method provided by the ZenPhoto boards. This actually worked. So I've been working a lot with the EzStatic plugin for WordPress. It allows you to include PHP code in your WP posts. So I tried to include bbPress in a page file but it looked really screwed up.

    So I hit up the WordPress codex and I found this. I found this function called get_home_template. Which eliminates the need to call the footer and header which is really nice and it works. Although I still get this error which I navigate away from the homepage which sucks.

    So that's basically where I am at with the project right now...

    -- Later in the day... --

    Alright, I spent more time learning about a couple PHP functions, include and require and what the differences are. Basically require will stop on a fatal error and stop processing the page. It will output the error.

    So since I wasn't getting an error I assumed things would be working. But for some reason I couldn't use the get_header and other WordPress functions on ZenPhoto. My solution?

    I installed ZenPhoto on the ASO server which also has WordPress and bbPress. Things now work and actually ZenPhoto is completely done. Check it out, it's got most of the same CSS as the blog but I changed the links around a little. Added some neat little effects.

    Now the only thing left is to get bbPress working. I am going to work on that now. I guess I might have to upgrade my hosting package because the photos take up so much space...oh well, oly and extra $5.00 a month for a little more then double the space I have no and about double and half the bandwidth.

    Alright to hack up bbPress!

    -- 7:41PM (10 minutes after the last update) --

    Wow, I think I just did my first REAL piece of CSS. And I am so proud of it:

    .news {
    border: 1px solid #FF0000;
    background-color: #FFD2D2;
    width: 375px;
    padding: 2px;
    text-align: left;
    }

    I wanted to create a red box with some text inside of it. And I DID! If you check out the photo page you can see it in action! WOW! I feel so good haha I feel so accomplished!

    Day 4: Alright, commenting now works on the photo album and no errors are being returned. I had to move where I was calling the header file and change a function to just $FIXME.

    This fix also fixed the AJAX functions in the layout when namng/renaming photos and descriptions of photos and albums. The photo album is 100% done? Of course there could be errors I missed!

    Computer Report - 2003

    This is a report I wrote to get into the Cisco Networking class instead of going to normal high school. It's kinda funny, old school :)

    =====

    Computer Report
    Jimmy Brancaccio 6.02.03

    First off I would like to mention that this started off as four pages and it was still a work in progress. The other night, I totally forgot it was on my hard drive and I formatted it...so now you're getting a much slimmed down version of that.

    Over the course of my life I have been using computers for more then half of it, I have used many different operating systems, many different applications, tons of different pieces of hardware so here's a brief overview of what I have encountered in my computer life.

    Operating Systems:

    >> Microsoft Windows 95 -- This was my first operating system. I didn't get to know it too well like I know other operating systems.

    >> Microsoft Windows 98 and Windows 98se -- These have become quite familiar with me because the PCs in my school run on this operating system for the majority.

    >> Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional & Advanced Server -- I used both of these for my server at home for 5-6 months.

    >> Microsoft Windows ME -- One of the WORST operating systems I have ever used. Way to buggy and I got way to many BSODs. I wouldn't recommend this operating system to anyone.

    >> Microsoft Windows XP Home & Pro and Media Center Edition -- These are a much better OS then Windows ME. I ran these operating systems for a while on my normal computers.

    >> Microsoft Windows 2003 Standard & Web Editions -- These are my current operating systems that run both my servers and my normal computers on the LAN.

    >> Mandrake -- This is the first distribution of Linux I had ever used.

    >> Gentoo -- Still working on installing this distribution of Linux and maybe I will have gotten it by the time you read this.

    >> College Linux -- This is the 3rd distribution of Linux that I have used. I guess it could be the 2nd since I haven't really gotten Gentoo installed.

    >> Microsoft Windows Longhorn -- This operating system isn't even in alpha build yet, but I snagged a copy to check it out. It's much like XP right now.

    Hardware:

    I have used way to much hardware to tell you right now. I use IDE HDDs, SCSI HDDs, Ethernet cards, motherboards, sound cards, video cards, tape drives, CD-RW drives, optical mice and the list goes on.

    Networking:

    I have a LAN at home so it was mandatory for me to lear how to maintain and install one. I have no big books explaining the TCP/IP Protocols or the OSI layers. I just read articles on the net and the manuals provided with my networking stuff. I run a fileserver and webserver so since I am on a LAN I have configured my router to send the right port requests to the right computers. (i.e. port 80 requests get sent to the webserver computer). Also learning how to setup wireless internet connection was something I learned since some of the computers on my LAN are connected to a wire-less router for internet access and file sharing.

    Servers:

    Just thought I should make this it's own category because it's what I mainly do each day of my life. I run about 5 or 6 different servers here. I have a FTP server, webserver, radio station server, Counter Strike MP server, MP3 server and an IRC server. They were all setup and configured by me. I could go into much more depth but I am running out of time. They all run on Windows 2003 though. I would love o move them ll onto Linux but I have not enough knowledge to do that right now.

    - It's 7:30am, I just set up this new server last night. It's called WASTE. It was written by Justin Frankel, the man who brought you WinAMP and several other applications. WASTE is much like IRC, and IM and file-sharing combined all into one. Well when I went to bed about 8 hours ago there was about 7 or 8 people connected to my server, when I woke up about 10 minutes ago and checked, there was about 400 people connected sharing files and chatting...amazing isn't it? I am still learning about how this WASTE network works...

    Programming:

    >> C++ - I have very little knowledge of this language as I took a course in it 3 years ago and I think I have forgotten everything I learned.

    >> DarkBASIC -- As it says it's a BASIC programming language. I didn't enjoy it very much.

    >> PHP -- I am just learning this right now. I have some scripts up to use.

    >> Visual Basic -- I took a course on this language last year and I am okay with this language. I have several applications made but it's nothing that's to special.

    Another Layout Change!

    The main reason I changed my layout again was because I just wanted to have my comments in the layout of the journal, I think it looks a lot better now, although I really liked how the other style had the tags in a cloud? Is this still possible, I am using Smooth Sailing, I really like tag clouds, not in a list like this.

    I will be adding a header image in when I get the time to make one, I am debating on whether or not to do horse related or Final Fantasy related...or anime...I dunno...

    I worked on some more Crisis Core missions yesterday. I'm really getting through a lot of them. I am going to do them until they all say Very Hard, then I will continue working on the main story. It's such a fun game :) I can't believe I'm able to take down enemies with 50,000HP. Crazy. Although there is some materia out there that I should have, and it does 9999 damage per hit...I must find it.

    Had some consulting yesterday, pretty simple stuff. Although things did get crazy after I'd gotten back and some how their accounting database had gotten corrupted and I had to work an additional 2 hours, but I think I solved the issue, mostly because they haven't called back to say it's not working (and it's 11:30am now). Today I have a single consulting appointment in Williston, should be simple. SuperDrive & RAM install. As long as it's not a 12" PowerBook I am going to be okay :)

    Then I am not sure what I'm going to do the rest of the day, maybe I'll be able to put down Crisis Core and work on some Resident Evil. I'm probably half way through the game now. I am going back into the mansion after fighting some crazy killer sharks.

    I got my Apple Product Professional certifications in the mail, so I am good through December 31, 2009. Phew.

    I am hoping my stuff from NewEgg, ModSupply and CodeJunkies comes in soon, I am so anxious! I can't wait to try it all out. I do have one question if you see this [info]confining, can I still play all my legal games? I really hope so and I wouldn't see why not, but it's best to make sure :)

    [info]emilie and I are close to being done with Azumanga Diaoh, I think we have like 4-5 episodes left. For some reason I'm really starting to get annoyed with Tomo...oh well...I dunno what series we're going to watch next, we have so many to choose from. I am thinking Death Note since it's supposed to be awesome.

    I got my first issue of Anime Insider, I am barely through the issue I bought more then I month ago, and so I've got 2 new issues to read, it's great!

    Well I best be going, I have to get some gas before I head up to the consulting appointment. Have a nice day everyone!

    Eeeesh...

    Holy crap what a day. Hopefully some of the dust has settled! So let's get back to the normal...

    I worked on the Vermont Ice Cream Company website this afternoon. I finally am getting to the point where I am adding some meat into the website. I'll be adding some photos tomorrow and probably more copy. I think I am going to try to use billable or one of the online solutions [info]makkintosshu pointed out to me. We also finalized the name for his new project, as I said before I'll discuss it more in a later post.

    [info]emilie and I went food shopping this afternoon. Got lots of good food! We were going to make this really nice quiche for dinner, but we got sidetracked with something else, so I haven't had dinner yet. Code-athon

    Well for the last 2 weeks I've been working my ass off validating almost 3,000 (2,996 or something to be exact...) products and other various (X)HTML pages. It's a goddamn god thing we got bonuses this month or I would have flipped out and killed someone. Fortunately all of the products are done and there's only a few static HTML pages left to do.

    Besides that I've been playing a lot of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare with my friends. Unfortunately one of my friends Xboxs got the red rings which I experienced myself just the month before, so needless to say he's offline for the time being.

    I've also started playing skate which is a really great game. There are a few times when I'm really hurting for the controls of Tony Hawk though. The control scheme is entirely different then I am used to for skateboarding games so it does take a bit of getting used too. It sure is a fun game though.

    I did managed to get my hands on Crysis and the PC version of Gears of War, so I can't wait to try those out. Still working on getting Assassins Creed. I tried to play some Portal this evening, but I didn't really get how it worked right away so I just shut it off and logged into COD4.

    Now that I've updated to Leopard, I have a good monitoring system in place and my Warcraft server is just chugging along nicely I really want to spend time with my friends, girlfriend and get into digital photography and just play games. I'll let the systems run themselves, and I'll just use them as I see fit, no more adding or tweaking. I am hoping everything is just using the things I've setup and created for myself!

    I updated the software on my photography website, now you can see EXIF data and stuff, way cool! :)

    Anyways, I should probably get some sleep seeing as it's like ~12AM.
