morgan although broken wristed has worked very hard with me on updating the Scribbld code base to the latest version (as of yesterday). One new thing i really like is that it automagically snags the latest song from your Last.fm account and plug it into the update page and also the update page (rich text editor) now works in Safari 3/Webkit. I am very very happy with that. It only took us about 45 minutes to an hour to upgrade everything which was really nice.

I beat GoW2 over the weekend. It was a tremendously amazing game. I have a feeling I might play through it another time because I didn't do it with makkintosshu or Keith. I haven't really heard much from either of those guys lately.

Wrath of the Lich King comes out this week. I am excited, although I don't know why since our Warcraft server won't be updated for some time.

I've setup my new MacBook and I am thinking about returning it already because the color is absolutely horrible. I never thought I would be one to bitch about color issues but this is absolutely horrible. I might have to run through the calibration thing again...The whole display looks all washed out, the colors are sucky. My old black MacBook was much better then this. I do enjoy the backlit keyboard though. It also feels really nice when you're typing on it though.

So today, not much happened minus the database maintenance and code upgrade. I'll be heading to the barn in a bit. One of the horses/boarders that had been there for like 8 years left this weekend. Sucky! I might go riding today...depends on how I feel.

Hrmm, I just played with the brightness on the MacBook, colors are a bit better now...

I've been working on beating Resistance as the second game is either already out or very close to releasing (sometime this week). emilie and I have also been playing LittleBigPlanet which is a lot of fun.

Not much of anything else is going on. I am supposed to go out to lunch with a good friend from high school tomorrow, that should be fun.

More busy excuses coming...I barely have time to use Twitter let alone Scribbld. I got my hands on LittleBigPlanet a couple days earlier then the scheduled release so emilie, morgan and I have been playing a bunch of it. I also grabbed the players guide today since I was up in Burlington with my car. I had to go up there to put in my hours since I forgot my time codes. Oops...

I just finished watching Harmful Insect, awesome movie, really messed up, but I liked it a lot.

Well this weekend was rather nice, but far to quick for me. I feel like I didn't get enough done even though I did get a lot done. On I worked a bunch on some Warcraft servers with morgan. Finally around 8pm or so we had them both up and running and in a usable format. We got ArcEmu and a Wrath of Lich King (based on Mangos) up and working. I must say the new Death Knight class looks really awesome, I think I've got some reading up about it to do though because I am not sure I fully understand how it works. I assume Wikipedia or WoWWiki could help me with that though.

Saturday emilie and I hung out for the morning, had a nice breakfast and probably watched a movie, I can't remember. Then she went to the friends and I had the apartment to myself for the entire afternoon and pretty much until 12am when she returned. I spent most of the day squashing Scribbld bugs and adding CSS into the site. I probably played some Call of Duty 4 in there also.

Sunday, emilie and I went up to Williston. We bought a new dish since ours was starting to get a little rusty. We also picked up a PS3 and Devil May Cry 4. I still have my other 2 games (Drake's Fortune & Resistance: Fall of Man). We pre-ordered LittleBigPlanet & World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King - Collector's Edition. LBP comes out next week, I cannot wait. I am trying to get Emilie to make me a nice Sackboy plushie. We'll see about that :)

I attempted to get Mac OS X Snow Leopard WWDC 08' Preview installed on my PowerBook but after looking at the Install PDF, I found out it required an Intel processor...I asked around on Twitter but I got mixed responses. Some said final would require Intel and others said G4/G5 would still be supported...and if that's the case why make the beta Intel only?! Weird. I definitely want to try it out, I would love to see something like a change log but the disc had no such file. maybe I can connect with one of the developers to see if there's such a file on the Apple developer site.

So I have a few things to say about the PS3. I used to have one of the original units. The more expensive model too. It had WiFi, Bluetooth, 4 USB ports (possibly more in the back, I cannot remember), and a decent card reader module. Now the model I just bought comes with 2 USB ports and no card reader module. I rarely used the card reader module but I have a bunch of extra flash (SD, MicroDrive, CF) now and I would love to be able to use them...

Is there only 1 PS3 model now, the 80GB for $399?? Or do they offer another model, maybe a 40GB?? Any idea why they dropped those features? It sucks. I did buy a 250GB drive and I got that installed. I love how easy Sony makes that, and it's super affordable (unlike some other console making company I know....cough cough Microsoft...). Either way, Emilie and I've been playing Pixel Junk Monsters, flOw and Super Rubber Ducky this evening. We're going to have SO much fun with LittleBigPlanet. I am so excited for that.

This afternoon when I went into Small Dog to snag that 250GB drive and a HDMI cable, I stopped in to see my best buddy, makkintosshu who is doing quite well. It's been a rather long time since I'd seen him, so we chatted, although brief, but yeah. I do miss the daily interactions with my buddies.

Tonight Emilie and I also watched WALL-E. I love that movie. I might buy it on Blu-Ray now that we've got the player.

Today was a rather uneventful day. I did get to configure an iPod touch with a Cisco VPN, rather interesting. It's nice to know that now the 2.0 software does support Cisco VPN IPSec stuff. Other then that, nothing to wonderful happened. I finally remembered to bring home my saddle & bridle so that I could clean it. Hopefully I can do that either Friday or this weekend sometime.

Tomorrow at work we've got no work, but rather some wellness thing we need to attend. I don't think I shall complain as I am getting paid to not work, sounds good. I think emilie is going to come and pick me up too, which is going to be awesome. Today there were absolutely no seats on the bus on the way up to work.

After work, I did work at the barn, was nice seeing my horse. Apparently they had some hail there, but he didn't mind it, I guess the skimpy fly sheet worked for even that. The other horses, were like, "ahhhh!! what's this stuff hitting me!!". LOL.

Anyways, as the subject of this entry mentions, SPORE! I did get my hands on a copy, and yes I've been playing it since about 8pm this evening. It's an amazing game, I think I shall definitely purchase the Galactic Edition as this game definitely deserves my $50 or whatever. Emilie loves it to, we're definitely going to make some awesome stuff.

I finally got the Xserve rebuilt, my MacBook and Emilie's MacBook rebuilt. Everything but that Cisco switch has been fixed. At some point either on Friday or this weekend, I've got work on that Xserve for Keith and I's consulting appointment next weekend.

Hrmm, so Emilie and I are going to watch a movie now!

Horses - I've been extremely busy so beyond working at the barn I've not really done a lot with Nippet. It totally sucks. every since I've started working at UVM I've just felt to dead to ride or anything. I've been telling myself to bring my tack home for like the last 2 weeks and every time I forget. I just want to give them a good cleaning, since the last time I really did it was probably a year ago or more, lame.

I noticed his fly sheet that I just bought him already has a rip in it. I also should buy better straps because the one from his winter blanket are just way to elasticky. I also noticed the belly straps come undone about every day.

I've been meaning to order some fly spray for about month now, but that never happened either, god, I am like the worst horse owner ever. I guess I won't really be needing it anymore as the temperatures are pretty much cold again and the flies are gone, I'll have to monitor it though, if they seem bad, I'll definitely pick up a bottle at the very least, the gallon refill can wait till next Spring.

I definitely hope I can get some better time with him Wednesday even though it'll be after a UVM day...it's not like I've got anything else scheduled.

Geek - I had an epically and way to long of a battle with Mac OS X Server and a new client and getting it on as a mobile home directory. What a pain in the ass!! The home directory is still all messed up, the permissions are all screwed up, mostly for the Public and Sites folder which sucks, but whatever. I think eventually at some point, I'll rebuild the server and then go from there. That might be a project for next weekend.

I've been working with morgan to get one of the Cisco switches working. We did manage to update the 2924 with new settings which is awesome, but the 2900XL is still being a pain in the ass...

Other - Work at UVM is going. I definitely do not have the right tools I need to perform my duties completely. It's really lame, there's no software disks, I don't really have my own computer still.

emilie went down to PA this weekend to visit her folks. I stayed here cause I have a buncha stuff to do. Umm, nothing else I really feel like writing about now, so have a good one folks.

Yesterday, I had a day full of consulting and other work. I had a client come over in the AM for a data transfer which went very well, quite easy. I also tended to some of their basic computer questions. Then I ordered a pizza and it was very good. After that I had another consulting appointment and that too was very simple. Small Dog screwed up the clients computer and I just went in and fixed it. I don't know if I would say screwed up, but they didn't change the things they had changed back to what they originally were leaving the client rather confused. Either way, I got them all fixed up and they seemed pleased.

So here's a bit of a rant. Back in the spring the town deemed that one of the bridges leading from our town into the next was not safe anymore and had to replaced. This bridge was pretty important to a lot of people as it meant we didn't have to drive on the interstate but rather on this "back road". I prefer it personally cause I love driving with my windows down, and it's not that great at 7mph when you're on the interstate, anyways, when I was consulting, it was the last road right before the bridge. After my appointment I was planning on going to the barn to get my chores done and whatnot. So instead of simply being able to drive over the bridge and then 10 minutes to the barn, I had to drive all the way back home, get on the interstate, then drive all the way back. It was worst thing ever, complete waste of time. The good news is that a temporary bridge will be completed within the next week or two.

After that whole ordeal, I finally made it to the barn, and got my chores done. When I got home, I hung out for a bit, and then my good friend Clifford (who's been in Afghanistan for the last 4 years and finally got back into the states about 2 months ago) came over with his girlfriend. We ended up going out to grab a bite and then we went to the skatepark in Barre where we proceeded to "skateboard" if that's what you want to call it. I haven't really skated in 4 years or so. We definitely had a good time though.

Today, I worked at UVM, nothing really special came out of it. I am thinking about changing to Mantis from OSTicket, mostly because I know Mantis can be a bit more flexible and has more option...although it might be possible to tweak OSTicket so that it does a better job, who knows....I'll try to figure it out tomorrow. Hopefully I can convince them to purchase both OS X Leopard Server and a PC to drop Linux on to for another server.

My buddy John also came over tonight and we went for a bike ride. He basically just left last summer right after we started hanging out. But apparently it was all for the better. He's living in Manchester, NH, doing IT/software engineer stuff. Had an awesome time with him, caught up, was a lot of fun. He'll be going into a new job in a week or something. He's got an office right above Canonical (the Ubuntu people!) which is awesome.

Well I've got to get some dinner cause I've not really eaten all day, I think we'll watch some Doug or some movie tonight, hope you kids are doing well!

This might be a relatively quick post. I'm pretty busy and I'm trying to spend some time with emilie since I didn't get to really last night.

On Saturday I went up to Milton with David and played some airsoft. It was relatively lame because the area was large and there was maybe 10 people. I guess it was okay, it was something to do at least. On Sunday Emilie and I just hung out, went to the barn and had fun, then went to my parents for dinner which was nice.

Today, I had another appointment in Burlington for something which I shall leave un-named for the moment. It actually went well though. After that I had consulting appointment and that too went really well. I got some really yummy banana bread out of it :)

Last night I pretty much spent like 4 hours getting Unrealircd and Anope working. Obviously morgan helped and we pretty much finished it up. There's a little bit left of configuration to do. We tried to get an Eggdrop bot to work, but we might have to have someone else do that for us, as we're pretty much clueless on how it works. For the moment, I am completely satisfied with how it works. I just wanted a basic chatroom where I have some bit of control. That way if people are being dumb I can just kick or ban them. Definitely join up though, I am thinking about putting a big chat button somewhere haha

Tonight, just relaxing, Emilie is making her amazingly delicious calzones, so I can't wait for that. We're watching Star Wars: Episode I right now, I would love to take a cold shower at some point too.

Woke up relatively early this morning, got a bunch of work done and some fun things. For some reason the scheme code differed between web server 1 and 3, don't know why, but I fixed it. Also trying to figure out why the site likes to hold up messages (comments, emails, etc...). So what I've done to try to fix that is run a screen on the database server with a process that checks that and sends out the necessary workers to send out messages. Hopefully it works :P

I've also gotten a few comments/emails/support requests about the captchas not working but I cannot replicate the issue. Every time I go to the create a journal page I get a captcha and it seems to work fine. I would just refresh the page if you get a broken image for a captcha.

I've got a consulting appointment setting up Mac OS X Leopard Server this morning. Hopefully it goes relatively quickly. The last appointment I had with them took like 15 minutes haha I know this one will definitely take longer but it should be fun! I'll pretty much be starting from scratch which is nice, but a bit harder. I'll definitely be doing an Advanced Install too.

Last night Emilie and I were going to cook up this fabulous Thai dinner, but we ended up just getting some fried wontons from the Thai place up the street and not cooking up our noodles and stuff, oops...haha

We watched some Ebichu (which emilie thought was hilarious) and just relaxing for the evening. I did read some more Anime Insider, I think I am still like 2 months worth of issues behind haha

I've been really dying to play airsoft, but there's nothing going on here or in MA lately. Fortunately there's a game up here this weekend, I'm trying to get Greg to come up and play.

This weekend was decent. I saw Batman: The Dark Night with Keith on Friday night. Absolutely fantastic, I think I would gladly pay another $9.00 to see it again. There were several parts where I thought it was the end of the movie but it wasn't and it just kept getting better and better. It was really well done, and yes, Heath Ledger was outstanding. He really played the part and he played it pretty damn well in my opinion. I definitely enjoyed that movie.

On Saturday, Emilie and I hung out. I had built a new R.O.S.E Online server for us so we spent some time playing with it. We actually had stayed up till around 1am on Friday playing. We're pretty much back to where we were when I had a server going the last time. I am definitely kicking myself for not remembering to backup the SQL database though, but it's fun. I did hit a pretty big bug since my client was more up to date then the database and CSV files though. Eventually I found a proper fix and it all seems to work well now. I'm already level 23 and I've got into the soldier class. emilie chose to be a muse. We're having fun with it.

On Sunday, it pretty much rained all day, so we played some more R.O.S.E. Then we went to see the horses and I worked there and got my stalls cleaned. Then we went over to my parents for dinner which was great, also had some AMAZING pie for dessert. We actually got to take home the leftovers (of which I had some of today). I picked up my Lego sets that had been sitting there and when Emilie and I got home from my parents I worked on rebuilding them. I was missing quite a few guys though and a few pieces. Not a big deal though, I'm actually surprised I had as much as I did.

Today was Buddy's vet appointment so that was fun (not for him, me). He got jabbed with like 4-5 needles lol. I definitely enjoy watching them do it and all, and I try to ask questions and stuff...they're REALLY WONDERFUL. I love my vets. They're super nice and helpful to me. I also got my stalls done while I was there.

I was hoping that I could have stopped by to drop of the Wacraft maps and DBC files but they weren't done extracting from the client by the time I had to leave. So now I've got to upload like 3GBs of data to a server...getting close though. Probably won't be done until tonight though. At least now I've found this really nice application which downloads the source code for the server, it grabs the database, and then it compiles the code and pretty much does everything, I love automation!

This afternoon, I got some consulting calls done, I re-scheduled my consulting appointment for tomorrow to Wednesday. Keith and I are going to Boston tomorrow for his interview at the Apple store, although that might be a sucky drive for him if he gets it. Then we're going to bum around Boston, hit up Fire & Ice which will be awesome, maybe hit up Newbury Comics and maybe Chinatown, who knows. It's definitely going to be awesome.

Yesterday was my best friends birthday. We decided to meet up at this shooting range in NH (about a 2.5 hour drive for me). We both made it there around the same time, cool considering he was coming from Massachusetts and I was coming from Vermont. Anyways, we got there, and got this MP5-SD. It had a built in suppressor, so it was relatively quiet...the guy at the place was wicked cool, totally into his job and shooting and all, so that made for a really good customer service experience. He gave us the whole safety talk and how the gun worked and such, definitely a good talk. Then we went off and shot the thing, unfortunately it kept jamming so after we finished going through 100 rounds we went back and traded it for the other MP5. This one didn't have a suppressor so it was a bit louder and his a slight bit more kick to it. The other MP5 also had a 3 round burst fire which was cool. Anyways the second gun worked well and didn't jam once. I definitely enjoyed shooting both guns, first time I've ever fired a real gun and wow.

We spent about an hour and 200-300 rounds, not much, but it sure was fun!! After that we went to Chili's and got lunch/dinner. I was home by 7pm or so. emilie and I finished up her horsey cowboy puzzle and watched Ratatouille. Went to bed pretty early but I pretty much fell asleep right away, quite tired.

This morning I did some consulting calls and email, will have to get to the rest after I come back from a consulting appointment. I've got some pics of Greg with the MP5 and also some other horsey pics...will post tonight or this afternoon.

I believe I mentioned in my last post that I've gotten most of my new multicam and other gear. I was going to post some pictures but my camera is pretty much useless without the flash and I am not taking everything outside. I've got to buy a new camera, unfortunately, I don't really have $200 for a new camera at the moment. I would love to get my hands on a new Rebel XT or the XTi or that new one, I can't remember the name. Anyways, the rest of my stuff should be coming in the next few hours...

Yesterday I was consulting in Montpelier, relatively short. Unfortunately for the customer it looks like he's got a bad power supply unit. After that I went out and got lunch with Emilie. We had some really good pizza from this place I've not been too happy with. I guess they're okay with slices and stuff, but sitting down in the more restaurant-like area was pretty much a nightmare. After lunch I dropped her back off at work and I went and worked the barn. The kitties are dwindling, not sure what happened to them. I just assume they've been given away. There's only 2 left now, a female and a male. The other original mommy kitty is pregnant, so they're going to have more kitties.

Watched Hellboy and Beowulf yesterday. I had been hesitant about watching Beowulf, not sure why, I thought it'd be really lame, but it wasn't that bad. I actually like that golden dragon at the end there. The animation was really amazing too, well done. I mean it definitely looked animated in some spots but in others it was just amazing. I had pretty much forgotten about what happened in Hellboy, so that's why I watched it. Definitely an awesome movie. I hadn't realized Liz was in that movie either. I definitely enjoyed the creatures in Hellboy II a lot more though, a lot weirder!

Did some consulting calls and emails this morning, also took a shower, still haven't had breakfast although by this time, I think it's lunch.

I did watch this G4 show on GameTrailers, mostly of Gears of War 2 stuff. Wicked awesome though. Don't call Cliff Blezinski, Cliffy B. though, he'll kick you in the balls :) Good waste of 20 minutes haha I can't wait for the game. This week is E3, so there's going to be a lot of cool games and announcements coming.

Tomorrow is my good friend Greg's birthday. He's the guy I play airsoft with. Tomorrow we're probably going to meet-up in New Hampshire at this gun range and we're probably be shooting MP5s, UMPs, M16s, AK47s, etc...it's definitely going to be fun. I am not sure I'll have time to get him a present, but I'll be going down to his place at the end of the month for another OP so I'll see if I can get him something by then. I just barely got my sister a present and her birthday is in April...lol.

I've got a consulting appointment this afternoon, in about an hour. I've got to find something for lunch (we have no food in this place...)...and then the afternoon is mine.

I finally bought Howl's Moving Castle on DVD. Now I just need Miyazaki's other films, I think Spirited Away will be my next one, then maybe Castle in the Sky.

Well I've already been pretty busy this morning working with a few clients and returning phone calls and emails. I've got a few new appointments scheduled which is awesome ($$$$!!!). Talked to my buddies too, apparently when I texted my friends he thought there was a bee in his pants or something and flipped out...he was playing golf at the time lol. I do wish I could have seen that.

I've got a few new apps for my iPhone, PayPal, NetNewsWire and Tap Tap Revenge :) I've not tried them out yet, but I am sure they're good.

I beat some more Battlefield: Bad Company last night, definitely an awesome game. Except for the mutliplayer, that sucks.

I got my vest, hydration pack and multicam hat yesterday. I had to find the mail man in town because I had to sign for the vest and pack. The vest feels small but apparently that's how they're supposed to be so I'll go with it. It's a wicked awesome vest though. I love the hydration pack too, it's like a little back pack. Really neat.

So I've got a consulting appointment at 2:30 today, should be some relatively easy stuff, file sharing, iChat and VPN stuff...should be fun.

I hope everyone has been having a good summer. Mine's been pretty good...it looks like I won't be going on vacation at the end of the month. emilie got a new job so she'll have to be in training and I'd rather not go without her. I can stay around and work...or just take a vacation and work on projects here at home.

I believe E3 is next week. I'm actually pretty interested in seeing Banjo-Kazooie. I really enjoyed the Nintendo 64 version. I am sure there's going to be a lot of neat stuff coming out of there. That reminds me I've got to update my video games list...

Been pretty busy with consulting and all. If it's not going out to places then I am usually at home working on emails and returning phone calls or consulting over the phone.

Ok, so anyways...I've also picked up another stall at the barn so that gets me 1 hour total and that means about $120 per month of board I don't have to pay so that's really nice, especially with all my other expenses right now. I did cancel my Netflix account. I told myself I would once I had an empty queue and that finally happened. I've pretty much killed anything I was subscribed to minus Anime Insider (because I already paid for it) and our Internet services.

Had to run to the animal hospital this morning because that weird video issue had resurfaced. I basically told them it was most likely a hardware issue and that they needed to bring it into the repair shop so they could properly diagnose it and order parts and have them replaced. It's definitely going to cost them though, possibly $500-$600. Ouch.

I've not been working on any websites as of late. I still have 2 websites to check into their own repositories. I did remove like over a gigabyte of media from the repositories. There's no sense in keeping it in multiple places...I guess for backup purposes but since it's just a repository, I'll let it be that and not a backup.

Keith and I are going to see Hellboy II on Friday, so that should be awesome. On Tuesday we hit up our Gamestops and picked up our copies of Unreal Tournament III. We'd pretty much been talking about that game since the summer of 2004 and we're just getting it now (actually I've had the PC version since it came out). Anyways, we pretty much played from 12pm till 10pm. We took a good dinner break but we pretty much played all that time. It's definitely a lot fun fun, we did versus, campaign and we finished up with a few online matches. Definitely an awesome game, although I almost prefer it more on the PC, it seems to run fasters, probably because you're using a mouse and keyboard. That's not to say the 360 version is slow, cause it's not...I also played a couple rounds of COD4 with makkintosshu, good times.

So, here's some not so great news. Just last year, Starbucks was opening about 7 stores a day, now they're closing ~500-600 of these stores...I'd definitely have to say either people are fed up with them, or the economy is really going downhill. It could even be a combination of both, but to have a company that was opening that many stores a day 1 year ago, to now, where they're up and closing 500 of them, not good.

The original mommy kitty at the barn is pregnant again...the barn is turning into kitty mania. I love kitties though. The horses are doing well. I snagged the leg straps off my dilapidated winter blanket and I'll use those for my new fly sheet. Nippet's blood tests came back and he's coggins free, which is awesome. I love him. I just need to copper tox his feet for a bit, they're getting a little messed up, so when I get paid which should hopefully be soon I'm ordering a big thing of fly spray refill and some copper tox. Other then that everything is great.

A lot of it is coming tomorrow so I am excited about that. It'll be like Christmas in July :)

I managed to get my hands on the latest 2.0 firmware for the iPhone and I've been installing a bunch of apps! I've got the Facebook app, Twitterific, Apple Remote, Things and I am thinking about getting Cro Mag Rally. I remember I used to play Cro Mag Rally with my friend instead of going to class in middle school. So much fun. It would be awesome if they had network play on the iPhone/iPod touch version. Currently I don't see how Things syncs with the desktop version so I will assume it doesn't but it MUST. I have a feeling they'll get it working, just not right away in this version. As far as I know Things is still in beta so they've got some time to get it just right (not that it's not amazing right now, because it definitely is)! The Apple Remote application is pretty much the first application I wanted about 1 week after the iPhone came out....er actually I wrote it about 3 months BEFORE the iPhone even came out! Well, it's been a bit since I last wrote in. Been busy with consulting and I was house sitting for my parents since Thursday. Nothing much really to talk about. I've been playing a lot of GTAIV, most of which I'm really enjoying. emilie and I are getting pretty close to beating Overlord too, it's a pretty fun game, she seems to like it.

Unreal Tournament III for 360 comes out on Tuesday (at least for us East Coast people). Keith and I are taking the day off and will be playing a lot of it, I am not sure about makkintosshu.

I bought a new multicam loadout. I also ordered some G&G Fan goggles so that should make my playing experience a LOT better. Got a buncha new stuff, I'll take pics and show them when I get all my new shiz in.

Went to work at the barn today, got to play with the kitties and the horses. No pics though...

Not much else to say at the moment, back to work tomorrow, although I don't have anything scheduled. Hopefully I'll be able to make some appointments tomorrow!!

Had my consulting appointment this morning, went quite quickly. I would say 15 minutes max. I'll probably get paid more in travel then for the actual work haha

I basically removed a DNS server from the router, then changed the DNS configuration on the server so that machines used the server as it's primary DNS and then anything else will be forwarded to OpenDNS. I highly suggest everyone check out OpenDNS too :)

Then I went to Small Dog, some lady thought I worked there and proceeded to ask me about the Drobo and online backup to which I gladly helped her out with. I picked up some gear for Canus for Thursday's appointment and then I went to Radio Shack. Some nice guy helped me get the right on/off switch and some electrical tape.

Got home, got the switch working and all, but it's just not going to work that well, the fan really is too big, same with the switch and for some reason the battery gets really hot, so I am going to look at my finances and I'll probably get this slick looking G&G MP5 or something...

Anyways, emilie got a new job, so we're getting Thai food to celebrate...probably watch a movie or something tonight. Have a good one kids!

I've been semi-busy the last couple of days, hence no real updates. At one point the main database server for Scribbld went funky and the OpenDirectory service crapped out. Fortunately I don't have many real OD users so it was pretty easy to get that back up and running. I think I'll be making backups every so often of that because it's really lame that it just lost all that data, quite suck-ass in-fact.

I hung out with Greg on Friday, we just went to the Army Navy store, Ming Moon, and a couple of gun shops. Parro's has the best stuff, the assault rifles (real steel) were like $800-$1300 which isn't too bad really. I never found the little med kit that Greg has, maybe I will have to look online for it.

This weekend emilie and I took care of my parents house. I've been playing a bunch of GTAIV, it's a lot of fun, Greg seemed to like it a lot too.

Watching Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and some Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad too. Episode 6 I think it was pretty much put me to sleep, the end was so crap.

We did go and see WALL-E, I absolutely loved it. I plan on going at least once more to see if I can find the pizza planet truck and the other things.

Had a vet appointment for my horse today. They gave him some drugs to "calm" him, within about 30-45 seconds he was almost asleep haha He was out pretty good which was nice, he was done with his shots, teeth, and cleaning in about 15 minutes. The whole thing cost about $100 less then I thought it would so that's really nice.

Emilie and I watched The Two Towers this evening and an episode of Beck. This episode was much better then the last, a bit more funny.

Tomorrow and Wednesday I have consulting appointments, it should be good stuff, relatively easy. That reminds me I need to email Wednesdays appointment to see where they're located. Eeeh I keep getting side tracked...

So yeah, I think it's time to call it a night, maybe I'll surf the web a bit or read some Anime Insider. Have a lovely night all!
