Landon absolutely did not want to come into work today. He was still hungover from the previous night and his head was blasting. He should have known it was going to end up like this, but he was just so incredibly bad at butterbeerpong. He walked into the the shoppe and flipped the open sign over. He flicked his wand and the chairs flew from the tables and hit the ground. He sighed as he served himself a steaming cup of french vanilla coffee.

Mina entered the Coffee Shoppe for the first time in a very long time. She'd gotten ready and Apparated all the way to work before she realized her shift had been switched to the evening. Rather than going home and attempting to sleep, she opted to get some coffee somewhere other than behind the bar, desiring to be waited on rather than waiting for once.

Entering, she saw no one around except for a lone worker behind the counter. "Good morning," she greeted him smiling, and looked up at the menu hanging above him. She was never much of a coffee drinker and pondered over what to get for a few minutes before finally deciding to ask the expert. "So what d'you reckon I'd like?"

Landon turned around from the neverending shelf of tea and coffee bean flavors when he heard a voice. "Oh, hello. I love french vanilla but everyone says the white chocolate mocha is the best." He shrugged and smiled. He subtly looked at the mystery woman and studied her petite features. She didn't appear much older than twenty and quite fit. He hoped his cheeks weren't turning pink.

"Hmm," Mina said thoughtfully. "I'll try the french vanilla. I'm not much for following the crowd." She grinned.

She looked around the coffee shop before turning back to the man, deciding to make small talk as it was just the two of them. Mina didn't mind that at all. "So how sick of coffee do you get, working here?"

Landon began preparing a mug of french vanilla. He barely had to see what he was doing because of his obsession with it.

He looked at the girl as he finished the last couple steps. "It's not so bad. I have a coffee addiction though," he shrugged. "The smell bugs me though." He handed her the hot mug and smiled.
