(00:50:48) Morgan: Hmm...Well over the summer xBetas kept going down and everything, so finally after some time and work the "big" people from xBetas, Frogworm, GaryZelda, and the other IRCops and OPs put together BetasIRC to get away from the DDoSing on xBetas, and blackcomb the dude who also high on xBetas list came along too, but then he wanted to have his own network, xBetas...so he started that up again, came back to us
(BetasIRC) asking to join us...so we let him...but then he left us again...and so with that he lost lots of people cause they all stayed with BetasIRC....this all happened starting in summer 03' and now here we are, still have seperate networks...

(00:54:24) Morgan: We did release the PDC Build, but I am not sure if we were first. We've only been around for that release I think. We might have been there for the 4015 build but I am not sure.

(00:56:49) Morgan: I have tried out all the builds from 3683 and up....they're nice. It has potential to be a pretty cool OS. The hype, not sure if there really is any, yeah all the people who don't know much all come in #betas, wanting it....I don't think they know it's an Alpha OS right now...but I am sure we're all anxious for the next release

(00:58:46) Morgan: I believe it was 4015 that they messed up on. They released an unbootable CD and it wouldn't accept any keys. I am not 100% sure it was 4015, it might have been the PDC release.

(01:40:14) Morgan: Yeah sure. If one wants to serve programs, you can use some called an XDCC. It's very simple to set up, I use qIRC which is a script for mIRC and it comes with a very nice XDCC script. You just add "packs" and give them names and then turn on the script and it'll display the programs/packs you are offering and then a command in which someone will use to download from you.
