Jean-Louise had just had a lucrative couple of days on the homeworld of the Badoon Sisterhood. Such rare spacefarers were an excellent market for 'exotic' staples. Now she was back on the road. Space. Whatever.
When suddenly the ship stalled.
She rustled around in the back of the tiny cargo transport. The trouble was, in order to fix it, she had to figure out what was wrong first. She hated that. She could make all the new wires in the world, but if she didn't know where they went.....

Player (nickname, handle)/ LJ: Kate
Character Name: Jean-Louise Reece Character LJ (if applicable): notafailure Physical description (face, build, weight): 5'5, dark haired, various minor birthmarks such as very thin, fine scars on her face. Age: 19 Birthday: 25 May PB: (If using one.) Linda Cardellini Codename: (if using one) Molecula. Abilities: Molecular telekinesis with disgusting levesl of potential Weaknesses and flaws: Anxiety disorder, low self-esteem, chronic headaches, difficulty working with living material (Jean-Louise would point out that she has no problem with organic molecules. Carbon isn't the tough part. It's things connected to something breathing that are the tough part.) Character location/Home: Mobile Alignment (villain, hero etc): Business Team: (if on one): potentially Guardians of the Galaxy Relatives (living/dead?): Owen Reece, father, living. Marsha Rosenberg Reece, Mother, living. Backstory: Owen and Marsha tried to retire and have normal jobs. They tried again and again, but Owen just couldn't hold down a normal job, and Marsha was always busy keeping him stable, so whenever the Reeces weren't doing a few relatively harmless jobs of the old sort, they tended to live in or near poverty. Jean-Louise -- because everyone loves being named after Jr. High summer reading; she was just grateful she wasn't Skeeter after Aunt Mary -- made it through all of this, and worked on her abilities with her dad when they manifested -- she wasn't leaving home to go to school. She made herself a solemn vow, 'some real Scarlett O'Hara type stuff: she'd find a way to make sure her parents had real, steady support, never have to take a loan from Aunt Mary and Uncle Carl, never have to worry about how they were going to pay the bills. She studied hard, but college.... college was too much, would take too long just to get through and pay off. So she went to work right away. She started out by having Daddy do the hyperspace trick and bringing her to a reasonably safe planet with a lot of lemons, sugar, and pitchers of water. Jean-Louise sold fresh-squeezed earth lemonade for the kind of equivalent barter Americans would have given for caviar. This was the best she knew how to do. Once she had enough, she traded for more things, eventually getting her own tiny ship and slowly teaching herself to fly it. She still visits her parents often, because she gets lonely.
How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: petty interstellar merchant. What are you planning to do with this character? Guardians of the galaxy. What do you want to see happen with this character?: Sulky 'ugly' space adventures. Sample Post:
