Nott in the World

Had dinner with Daphne this evening. Haven't seen her since Paris last year and since finishing Hogwartz before then. It's rather odd talking to someone I know. It's been non-stop strangers for two years. Mostly people I'll never see again and definitely people I'll never be assigned to work with again. (The company doesn't send me to places where negotiations are going well.)

Daphne's still Daphne. And by the sounds of things, none of my housemate from my year have changed much. If any of you are reading this, owl me some time. Let me know what's up.

Mundane social things to be aware of
1. Daphne and Pansy are in some sort of social battle for Draco's love.
2. Apparently, Draco is capable of loving someone other than himself. I'm not sure I believe it.
3. Pansy dated Blaise Zabini for nearly a year.
4. Millicent Bullstrode is dating Ron Weasley. (Weird!)
5. Fred Weasley knocked up Hannah Abbott (poor Hannah) and she married him.

Updates on the war
1. Bill Weasley was murdered two years ago. I'm surprised I didn't hear about this!
2. Bellatrix Lestrange kidnapped and tortured George Weasley. He was recoverd.
3. No Minister of Magic as of yet. No official leader of the Death Eaters, either.
4. Daphne has stayed clear of the Death Eaters. No word on Draco yet.

Hmm. Well, I think that's all I've learned so far. But, I can't keep harping on this stuff at the moment. I need to start thinking about work.
