Kyle walked down from his room, Wes and Chase were up there causing the usual noise and he was ready to stop his failed attempts at studying and socialize in the common room for a while. Of course, once he left his staircase and he observed the scene, he decided that the most desirable person to socialize with was also looking extremely cute in a corner of the common room studying.
Kyle sat in the chair next to Piper and made a point to push her books away for moment. "You just looked so sad," he was telling al lie of course, she had looked like any normal person looks when they study, leaning back and not paying attention, "so, share with me, what's got you down?"
Maybe taking the nice approach would work... not that he could keep this up for long.
