She hasn't been to a doctor yet. She always almost falls asleep while she's driving or if someone is speaking to her in soft tones. O.o

Yikes! You should totally call a local rehabilitation center and schedule a sleep study with them. You might have to call your PCP first and get a referral, but that needs to be checked out! Lol. Falling asleep while driving = bad news bears!
