lisaonpaper | 05:21 am Wait, you can write a novel if you're ANYBODY. A lawyer draws the comic 'Pearls before Swine'. You know how to write and you're well read. You're as capable of writing a novel as I am. You don't have to be a English major by any ANY means. If you want to write, write. There's a girl on DA who counts on art to make money, but her fiction is ten times better than mine. Seriously, no degree necessary. Grammar? Dude, I'll beta it for you. All you have to do is write and know how to pitch. If you can work up money for conferences, agents will listen to your pitch. If you have something good, you can get in the door. Do what you love. If you want to write, really, you should do it. Be bold and courageous. You're not signing your life away. I believe you can.
