After graduating from Blue Ridge School Sera moved on to Blue Ridge University to study Magical Law and Political Science. She excelled of course, making it to the top of her class in no time at all. After just one year Sera was offered a summer internship with the LAW in the Department of International Magical Cooperation, specifically in the Office of International Magical Law and Policy. While still at Blue Ridge Academy she had once job shadowed in the same office, which Madeline had set up. They had remembered Sera`s strong work ethic and maturity from her visit and were more than thrilled when she wanted to return.

With a bit of university under her belt she no longer felt so much like the little high school kid, who was just in the way and was given quite a bit more responsibility. She had no problem at all proving she deserved to be there, regardless of her mothers connections and was offered the chance to return each summer until she graduated. Which of course she couldn't pass up, she knew, always knew basically that this was exactly the kind of work she wanted to do.

Sera and Jenny continued to date throughout university, and even after Jenny graduated and moved on to begin work on her first novel. The distance was a bit of a strain but they usually tried to see each other atleast on weekends. They were of course both very busy but always being hardworking, weren't too effected by the workload. They made time for each other, just as they always had. Summer's were always a little more difficult, especially once the League started sending Sera to offices all of the country and overseas, but they still for the most part made it work. Sera like most people madly in love in high school always believed she and Jenny would be together forever.

That was until Paris..

After she graduated and with a stack of reference letters from basically every member of the League she ever worked with, Sera was offered the job of a lifetime working in her favorite city in the world, of all places. It was perfect and she knew she'd be a fool not to accept. She would be working as an American Wizard Ambassador,  a branch, of sorts between the LAW and the Ministry of Magic's  Offices of International Law and Policy. She was more than excited to relocate to Paris and of course asked Jenny to come along.

Sera'a grandparents, who were extremely excited the two girls were coming, and especially to finally to meet Jenny, who they had heard so much about, set everything up ahead of time. They found them a nice apartment in a friendly but quiet building, she made sure to tell them this was important so Jenny could focus on writing, and not too far from Sera's job or their house incase they needed anything. She may have been an adult but to them she'd always be their precious baby granddaughter.

As a graduation present they also agreed to pay their first few months rent till Sera got on her feet at her new job and had their apartment completely furnished and ready before they arrived.

Leading up to the move to Sera noticed Jenny seemed a bit off, but she still seemed generally excited about the journey they were about to take on together. Sera had no worried at all about it being a complete success and figured it was probably just jitters. Paris was a long way away afterall and she knew Jenny was going to find it hard being away from Ella and her parents. As the move drew closer Sera could sense Jenny wasn't quite as excited about the move as she was at first but figured she'd feel better once they were there and settled. The possibility of ever leaving Jen behind was just too hard to even consider. In the end though the idea was kind of hard to ignore even if Jenny was still insistent is was going.

They had shipped most of their luggage ahead of time so on the day of the move all that was left were their carry on bags. Ella and Hendrix drove them to the airport to see them off but with skipping the checked-baggage line it wasn't long before they had to say their goodbyes and go through security. Just reaching the gate, with their passports and in hand, Sera turned to say something to Jenny and immediately noticed her clinging to Ella's arm, their were tears already streaming down the blonds face. Her heart dropping Sera let her bags fall to the floor and was at Jenny's side trying to comfort her. But no matter what she said Jenny's mind just couldn't be changed. She just couldn't leave her family behind. Sera had no idea what to do, even if she been half expecting this to happen all along. On the one hand, she couldn't leave Jenny or force her so go if she didn't want to but this was a job is honestly just couldn't give up.

As hard as it was for the both of them, Sera eventually got on the plane, but practically missed it waiting for the last minute to check in. She just couldn't say her last goodbye,  every time she tried to walk away the next thing she knew she was back in Jenny's arm until it was down to the wire and she had no choice. The first few months in Paris were hard on Sera, especially when she arrived at her apartment were most of Jenny's things were already set up. Having to pack and send it all back was almost unbearable. She considered quitting practically before she even started and going to American and to Jenny but her job was going amazingly well and in the end decided to stay.

Despite ending their relationship Sera and Jenny still tried to keep in touch as much as possible and remained friends. Sera soon learned Jenny was dating a man named Thomas Holmes and just around the same time noticed a considerable decline in the number of letters she was receiving from the blonde. Figuring she was just busy with work and her new boyfriend Sera didn't think much of it, and soon finally started to date herself. With not much time outside of work to meet people, her grandparents tried to help out, trying to set her up with practically every respectable bachelor they knew. It would be a young man named Andre Lefevre from the Department of Magical Law enforcement who would finally catch her eye though.

Sera and Andre met through work and immediately hit off. He was tall and handsome, and extremely hardworking, motivated and well-educated. Sera was completely smitten for the first time since Jenny and the two were soon dating and in no time at all they were discussing their engagement and the idea of moving in together. He was just about everything she ever wanted in a man, well mannered, sweet, strong, protective and spoiled her like a princess to boot.

...not done!
