Flynn Wisdom stood outside, leaning against his car as he waited. He had instructions to make contact with one of the SHIELD members. British intelligence/government needed a communications update. Why did they always send out to do deal with such matters? He swore the head of MI3 hated his guts, which he had good cause to. Wisdom isn't exactly the easiest person to deal with.
Glancing down to his wrist watch, he wondered if the person is ever going to show up."Bloody hell..wasting my time." Flynn grumbles to himself. He is currently working on his fifth cigarette.
"I'd say you're late...but we'd only have an argument on it. Save me the headache." Flynn commented, grinning.
"We'll play later on. Down to business." Flynn said all serious like. Not sure how serious they'll take this meeting. Whenever they both met up, it usually ended being battle of the wits.
Josh nods once. "Agreed."
"Communications department was kind of slacking off. Partly my doing." Flynn fesses up."Kept the head of communications between my sheets," He says with a wink.
"What further information is SHIELD needing from out end?" Flynn asked.
"As long as he got the work done I don't mind," Josh said with a perfect straight face.
"There's been a recent increase in RAID activity. Given their last big attack was on London, we're curious if there's been any rumblings of their possible activities in Europe."
"Oh, so you think of me as a fairy, eh? Just like how Fury likes to call you Dark Sensual Chocolate via text." Flynn said matching his straight face.
Flynn rubs the back of his neck."Fully aware of that. Was kind of hoping to ignore it, ya' know, sweep it under the carpet for later?" Flynn said."The most recent information of any possible activities would be not be on paper." Flynn says, as he pulls out a small computer. Quickly contacts to a secure connection to MI3 and tries to find the most recent data on activities in Europe."Just give me a tick." Flynn asks Josh.
"Please, everybody calls me that," Josh replied, not missing a beat.
"Yeah, I get that," Josh replied with sympathy. "No rush, do what you have to do."
"Here we go." Flynn pushes the small computer towards Josh's direction."Looks like a lot of activity in the Western region of United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, and Norway. I can get someone to gather up this information for you a.s.a.p.?" Flynn asked.
However he turned serious upon giving the notes an overview. "That'd be great. We got some information for you guys, too." Josh hands over his iphone, showing pictures of a ruined facility. "That used to be an AIM stronghold in West Africa. RAID lived up to its namesake and annihilated the place."
"Bloody hell...how did MI3 not now of this?" Flynn asked, more so to himself. He sighs, looks like he'll have a lot of work to deal with for awhile."Send any information you have on that. I think I need to have a word with someone."
Flynn sighed, shaking his head a little."Inside man, huh? That wouldn't surprise. MI3 is ready to handle any problems. Also, my surfaces are being extended out to SHIELD and the Avengers if need be." Flynn said.
"Well, this should surprise me. We've dealt with him in the past..even if may have been brief. Thanks for informing me on this. I'll make sure it gets a red flag and immediate attention." Flynn said.
"I also have something for you. Numerous flags of a unknown hacker or group, are causing mass hysteria in Russia and it appears to be targeting governmental groups. It doesn't look to be a normal group of hackers either." Flyn relayed. He types up the information on his phone and shows it to Josh."We have high ranked hackers at MI3, not at this level. We'd like to hand over this situation with you lot." Flynn asked.
Josh looks over at the data and frowns. "Friggin' Russia. I try not to make generalizations that country also seems to have some crap going on. Let me rephrase that, crap going on in several different places within the same country going on at once. Tim Dugan over at Shield may be able to make some headway with this, but..damn. You'd either have to be at the peak of human-hacking or..an AI intelligence." Josh rubs his eyes. "I really hope it's not the second."
"Hahah, yeah. I know what you mean. Would be nice to not have those kind of things happen, but they do and it keeps us all on our toes." He said agreeing with Josh's statement."Good to know Shield has someone like that. I got wind that the X-Men have a smokin' Cajun girl, who is the daughter of Sage...with similar abilities. I wonder if she would be any good? At least to assist Tim Dugan. If Sage wasn't MIA, we'd have this problem solved already." Flynn conceded, rubbing at his stubbly chin.
Josh shakes his head. "I prefer not to immediately turn to the superhuman community when something like this goes down."
"True, I'd much rather not get /her/ involved. If this matter gets worse and we can't handle it, we are going to have to ask her." He said.
He raises an eyebrow. "You still talking about Sage?"
"No, Sage's daughter. We can't exactly call yup Sage, 'Yo, babe can you do some hacking for us?' As I said, she is MIA currently." Flynn replies blinking at Josh.
Josh stared at Flynn a moment. "I think that's the first time I've heard an Englishman go 'yo babe'."
"By the way, nice imitation, mate." Flynn comments.
"I think this information session is over and done with. We both got what we wanted, everything appears to be going smoothly -- for the most part." He said pretending to knock on wood."Our next meeting is scheduled in three months time. Unless it's emergency, we can push it sooner. Any input before I confirm it?" He looks at Josh.
Josh nods in agreement. "Nope, I think we're good to go."
"Don't be a stranger..come and grace me with your awesomeness, whenever your around my area." Wisdom grins. He packs up all his stuff and climbs back into his car.
