Hi there, how are you?

Quietly Amelia settles, fingers smoothing down her skirt before she turns her attention to the interviewer, a smile sliding across her features, soft and easy. Oh. Surprised laughter spills from her, almost nervous. What a question. I'm as well as can be expected given the circumstances we face.

What's your name?

Amelia Collins, I suppose that would be Doctor Collins now however I've never truly finished my training. Even if it feels like I have.

How old are you?

I'm 27. A hint of sadness tinges her smile, eyes dancing away for a moment. I feel older though. Much older. After... everything.

Where are you from? From Fort Worth in Texas. My accent has gone though.

What was your childhood like?

Seems like a distant memory now. It was good, enjoyable. My father was a doctor, and my mother a house wife. It was... simple. Good. I miss it.

What's your best memory?

Oh. Just one? Amelia hmms, leaning back in her chair, fingers dancing across her lips thoughtfully. My parents and I used to go to this small cabin beside Like Worth, it was beautiful. I used ot love jsut sitting by the edge and reading, watching the sunlight on the water. It wasn't simply the... beauty but the peace, the serenity of the place. Sometimes my best friend would come. I've not seen him for a long time.

And the worst?

That one is easy. The day they declared war. I was actually in surgery at the time, a Mrs Greythrope who was having a heart transplant and I had been selected to assist. I came out and one of the nurses rushed in as we were cleaning up to tell us. The world ended in that single moment.

How did you survive?

I don't know. A question I ask myself often. Along with why. We, my parents and I, made our way up to Toronto as quickly as possible when it was announced to be safe. I guess it is a matter of luck. Though sometimes I don't feel lucky.

Do you have any powers? I don't.

  If not what do you think about those who do?

That if God wills such a thing then... it is as it should be. I think that it is not the powers which are making changes now but people themselves. Times are hard, cruel, as cold as the ice which covers everything and the powers don't make it harder it is simply how it is.

What do you think of those who have named themselves Gods?

Currently I act as a Doctor for Eir. I... I believe someone must lead.
