| Bio: | Aminda Prescott was born on and grew up aboard the cargo freighter Hermes with her parents. Her mother was the ship’s navigator and her father was the ship’s engineer. Being the only child aboard the ship, Min didn’t have other children to play with. Instead she followed her father around as he worked on the ship’s systems. This fostered a love of mechanical devices and engines.
Min grew up with exposure to many different cultures and got to see a wide variety of planets. Despite this exposure, she just didn’t get along with living beings. Min did better with machines than she did with others.
When she was eighteen she left the Hermes without her parents’ knowledge and made her way to Relva VII where she took the Starfleet Entrance Exam. She passed the exam and was admitted into Starfleet.
Her years at the Academy found her in trouble more often than not. Academically she excelled, but she was used to doing things without rules and regulations. This led to problems with fellow students and problems with authority figures. She passed and graduated and was assigned to her first ship, the USS Cairo under Captain Jellico.
Min lasted just under a year on the Cairo before she was transferred to the U.S.S. Cochrane. She managed to do relatively well for a short time, but her issues with authority and her disregard of safety regulations soon got her transferred to the U.S.S. Princeton. Her stay there didn’t last long and she was transferred to the U.S.S. Melbourne.
She would spend the most amount of time aboard the Melbourne, where she managed to not piss off her commanding officers and even managed to go up in rank. She eventually managed to achieve the rank of Lt. Commander before a change in captains brought more problems for Min.
After a few short months she was transferred off the Melbourne and on to the U.S.S. Tolstoy.
Her time aboard the Tolstoy lasted six months before she was given one last shot about the U.S.S. Anubis.
