"I thought that you were different than this. I thought..." Evan looked back at Lucius for a long moment. He shook his head and pulled away from Lucius. "You can't make this up to us. To her. She's going to have a black eye because of you."
Evan shook his head. "Leave us alone, Lucius." He told him and then walked out of the door. He stopped outside in the hallway and took a deep breath, feeling himself start to break. He hadn't wanted to lose Lucius. But, there was no other choice. He started to sob and then pushed off the wall, walking back down the hall to his own room.
He found Narcissa there. "I broke up with him." He told her quietly and then slipped into the bed beside her. "He won't hurt you again. I'm going to marry you."
