NAME: Esperanza Consuela Raynor née Valezquez.
NICKNAME Since she was little Esperanza has always gone by Hope as this is what her grandmother called her, the meaning of her name. It is only on official documents such as her passport, birth certificate etc. that the name Esperanaza appears and she actually introduces herself as Hope.
AGE AND DOB: 32; 27th January, 1987.
CAREER: Elementary school teacher.
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Lives in one of the remaining suburban areas in a house with her husband Jonathan.
MARTIAL STATUS: Married; Jonathan Raynor.

ABILITIES The ability to take on the secondary form of a large African Lion. Her control on her ability can be shaky at times especially when she is under emotional stress or angry.
ETHER: Hope is capable of using the Ether but it is very, very rare that she does so.
STRENGTHS/SKILLS: The majority of Hope's skills and strengths lend themselves to what would be a traditional wife role such as the fact that is an excellent cook. She's patient which is very useful not only with her husband who can be quite stubborn (just like her) but with the children she teaches. She has quite a creative streak, imaginative which helps keeping the children she teaches engaged, teaching them generally in creative and fun ways. Since marrying Jonathan she has become a little more adventurous and will generally allow him to persuade her into trying a number of things. Hope is a quite emotionally strong, capable of keeping a cool and level head in situations which would cause others to panic a fact which has served her well over the years.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS: Hope's biggest weakness is her need to help and her naivety. Hope wants to see the good in everyone and it means that quite often she gives people the benefit of the doubt, this flaw is most obvious in her relationship with her sister Gabriela. It is because of Gabriela that Hope was turned into a therianthrope, a side of her which Hope hates as she believes it puts not only herself but her husband Jonathan in danger.
WEAPONRY TRAINING: Unsurprisingly Hope has no training beyond a weekly self defence course which she picked up only to keep in shape. Violence is not something which Hope condones in the slightest.

● Esperanza Valezquez is the second and final child of Adriel and Isidora Valezquez. While both Adriel and Isidora hailed from [SPAIN?] both Esperanza and her older sister, Gabriela, were born in Las Vegas. Where they would both end up staying.
● The Valezquez family did well enough for themselves, Adriel working in insurance while Isidora worked as a social worker working with children. While neither had large pay checks they did well enough, while the girls were not spoiled they certainly didn't go without.
● Esperanza's childhood was good, a happy one most certainly. The Valezquez was a loud place, often filled with numerous family members from both sides of their families.
