"That's good," he said quietly. Rath had been doing his research about pregnancy for a while and always trying to check in with anyone who knew Tatum to see how it was coming along. He hated that he just couldn't check in with her himself.
"I told ya once, I'll tell ya a million times before we die," he said looking at her plainly. "I hate myself. I hate the way I act like this huge asshole. Like... I should just fuckin' be happy but no, I can't," he shook his head. "I'll be a miserable old bastard til the day I die."
"Yeah well if Sam wasn't such a damn idiot he wouldn'ta got ya knocked up in the first place," he said simply. "Michiko is pretty bad ass though," he mumbled. "Don't you go tellin' her I said nothin' like that though."
